Basically Path Of Titans showed dinos in realistic way but ARK showed them in a Badass way

ARK designers are so good, including the modding community. Though I'll always feel any other Therizinosaur is better than the duck we have in ARK. XD

@@PAPATHEMOUSEyes I agree but I think jp/world is more og and legendary since ark was sort of using the dilopho bc where else would they get the frill thing from? Even jp said it was added to be more scary to the screen (hence why ark used it bc all their dinos are meant to be scary)
For those who are confused deinoshucus is from a mod called ark additions and the dilo and yuty variations are from the paleo mod

I honestly prefer the scientifically accurate dinos from POT just cuz they are what I grew up with as a kid. The Ark dinos are cool in a more sci-fi adventure type feel so it works for them in their game, but outside it their designs would bother the shit out of me for being so poorly inaccurate 😅😂

That's because in the lore the creatures in Ark are genetically modified which is why they aren't scientifically accurate

Some people forget that most dilophosaur are around the size of an allosaurus.
(Not quite: they be six feet tall, 21 feet long, and weigh somewhere around 900 pounds! This was in part helped by hkswinxu!)

Not really, while yes some are really close, but NOT REALLY REALLY scientifically accurate

Path of Titans has:
mostly scientifically accurate dinosaurs
have way more abilities
have way more calls/sounds
No mods needed to play as a dinosaur
No admin commands to change the color of your dinosaur
Quests to unlock marks to purchase skins and abilities
Realistic effects (footprints, water ripples, some dinos get blood on their mouth when eating, etc)
Way more biomes to explore (like on Gondwa and Panjura)
Server admins can decorate with rocks, trees, caves, items that can be picked up and carried around, etc
If damaged enough bright red wounds will appear and some will heal into permanent scars (unless you die, then they disappear when you respawn)
Better Graphics
More items that will show up when held (you cant hold basically any resource in your hand in ark)
Theres lots of others but i dont want to make this a super long comment.

a LOT of fantasy. Like, A LOT.

A whole bunch of things in one mod (not just one dino per mod)
More aquatic creatures
Caves and artifacts
Etc
In my opinion both games are pretty even. If i had to choose one i would probably choose PoT

@@MollieTheMacawYeah but I'd add another thing: Playing in PoT is nearly impossible unless you're experienced or have a group of friends with you, or else kos packs will spawn kill you every 5 seconds. In work you just go to single player and forget about the pvp no lifers.
I think the dilo is also the Jurassic Park dilo with the frill and toxic spit

The Paleo skin is the only thing saving the Ark Dilo from mediocrity. Everyone else, from both games, is good.
It's simple, in Ark they show you the idealized beasts that one has of these animals, they look imposing, monstrous and with the appearance of being implacable beings in Path of Titans they show you the reality and the real beauty that they had and their majesty in their own way
Anyone who says they're not afraid of the Therezino at the beginning of Ark is lying, the animal looks like it's possessed

Ark is terrifying because everything is a lot bigger, except things that aren’t really that important or are just too dangerous for their environment like Dilophosaurus. If it was, it’s normal size no one would survive.

Both good honestly. I personally prefer the more accurate designs, because its closest to the real animal, and thats to me the main selling point of dinosaurs. Theyre real. But as out there awesomebro designs go, Ark is good, especially after the TLCs

Path of Titans developers and mod creators usually try to depict the dinosaurs in a more realistic style while ARK’s design are practically pure fantasy, you can’t really compare the two.

As much as I love ark, have you heard the amount of work put in to the dilophosauruses roar in the same with the yuty when it’s night in path and you hear that when you’re a baby dinosaur or even a sub adult it’s terrifying

I would love to compare the isle but for some reason the game is broken for me and the control keys just don't seem to work, i tried a lot to stuff to make it work but the game's broken atleast for me 😟❤️

Believe it or not but the POT Dilo is a nightmare to fight, they just apply constant bleed
