Your well aged mushrooms look exactly like some I have in my refrigerator right now. 😁 When I used to buy flour tortillas like this, I would grill them a few minutes on each side. It helps make them taste less doughy. Also, grilling the finished burritos on both sides (like Taco Bell does) using a bacon press before freezing them will also yield better results IMHO. Cool video!!! 👏🏻🍻
Ya I thought about grilling them at the end but by the time the filling cooled and I got done wrapping it would have been like 30 minutes later. So I didn't want to fire the griddle back up. But if I was eating them right away I would have definitely grilled them.
Being a single guy I love meal preps - what better way to spend a Saturday afternoon watching college football, week meal prep on the griddle, while having a few adult beverages!! Well played Sir - Go Bucks !!
With my 2 little helpers, I need to deploy a decoy cheese, play a game of "the floor is lava" and turn on Bluey to have a chance at finishing a cook. 😂 Got a full breakfast on the griddle planned for the morning and chicken fajitas for dinner. The griddle definetely earned it's place in my BBQ shack since I got it in June. Anyways, love your videos! Keep it up.
@JohnnyBrunet Breakfast was great. But the wife decided she wanted waffles instead of pancakes. So, no pancakes on the griddle this time. Fajitas were excellent as well!
Great idea, I'm going to do this tomorrow so I have breakfast for the week. I can't believe you cooked those mushrooms they looked way beyond ideal. LOL or that's my inner OCD. Your son is a wise dude eating all the cheese.
Great. Now I have to make Cottage pie this weekend and make meal prep breakfast burritos. Thanks for the extra work, Johnny :D Goes to the freezer to get breakfast sausage thawing...
great recipe Jonny. looks delicious. super idea about making them ahead of time and sticking them in the freezer. i love breakfast burritos thanks for sharing.
This looks so good Johnny. I love the McDonalds breakfast burritos by rarely but them. Yours look so good and are included in my Saved Videos section of RUclips. Thanks for sharing your craft with us.
@@JohnnyBrunetwell I did it. I followed your directions to the word. I even used a straw to vacuum the air from the bags! They came out great. A little semi pro tip: when I mix my eggs for breakfast burritos, I add taco seasoning. It's a game changer. Thanks to you I now have breakfast for the next 3 weeks! What a great first cook now that it's cooled down in Arizona.
After wrapping the burritos, brush the tortillas with a little water to help steam seal, and put on the griddle until golden. Flip and get the other side golden, no water needed on the side thats not overlapping tortilla. Also, try rice with taco sauce mixed in instead of hash browns, and taco seasoning on the sausage. Meat, eggs, cheese, rice/potatoes and lots of seasonings. Veggies aren't necessary. 😁
Ok, so I was under the impression that you were gonna pop those babies back on the griddle, straight out of the freezer, to get them browned. Obviously you didn't, but CAN you do it? And if so, how long and what temp?
You could put them back on the griddle but I don't think the inside would unthaw before the outside burnt. I would still pop them in the microwave for a min then sear them on your griddle or a pan on the stove.

Great idea Johnny! Teaching your little helper right with Bob Evans Sausage!
Oh ya that's what I almost always buy.
They look soooo yummy. I have all the time in the world, but Imy make some anyway!!
Nice recipe thanks! Another step I would add at the end is to grill the burritos after you have rolled them. It adds a ton of flavor!
Ya great idea!
Good call with the shrooms. Those look amazing.
Great video. I never thought about making several and freezing them.

I hope your breakfast went well! And yes, god bless Bluey, I don't think I would ever get anything done if it wasn't for that show lol.

Learnt alot. Thank you

For those of us who like seriously bigger burritos you can get the 12+ inch Old El Paso 'Grande" tortillas at Walmart (at least here in Michigan)
Awesome breakfast burritos.
Thanks Guy!
Thanks for the idea Johnny. This is breakfast tomorrow morning!
Awesome Mike! Hope you enjoy it.

Well you are bringing the boy up right😊😊😊
Thanks I try.
Yummy!
These look great! We recently got some Taco Bell Chipotle Creamy Sauce from the grocery store. That will be amazing with these.
Oh I've never seen that sauce. I'm going to have to keep my eyes peeled.
Great video awesome job
Thanks 👍
Spinach? Washing mushroom? You're getting kinda fancy. Great idea and they look delicious.

Sucking the air outwith a straw - if it works it ain't stupid. That's a trick I will remember. Jim Y
Glad I could be helpful Jim!
