I’m about to sit down and watch, but I wanted to say that it’s super cool seeing so many other people that are into wax also love reading! Wax and reading are my two main hobbies and I think it’s awesome that somehow those other two hobbies together are shared by other people not just me!especially when I know alot of people that aren’t into either that I work with and stuff and they can’t relate, it’s nice to see people who can!
What you just described is exactly the reason I started a channel in the first place years back. I wanted a space where I could talk about my interests that I didn't necessarily have in common with anyone in my personal life. I'm so glad you enjoy, and I hope to bring more book content to my channel in 2025!
11/22/63 was a 5 star read for me. It was the first King novel I picked up and it is still my favorite! Outlander was great for the first 4 books, then it felt repetitive. Definitely worth trying!
They are very lengthy books and looks like there is quite a bit in the series. I'm at least going to read the first one and then go from there and decide on it. Thank you so much for watching!
I am also prioritizing reading in 2025. I read 5 books in 2024 so hoping to at least double that! Have you thought about creating a FB group for all of the wax melters / readers to join and chat about current reads and faves?
Actually, yes! I am thinking of starting a book/wax facebook page as well as doing a monthly live book club. I wanted to gauge interest though so i'll be posting for thoughts on my community tab soon. Is that something that you would be interested in?
I am on book 4 of the outlander series and I really enjoy it! I also neglected reading longer books last year because they take longer to read (like the Outlander series), so my number one book to read in 2025 is the next book in the series
I totally get what you are saying about the 100 books!! There has to be a nice balance. I too love podcasts, there are tv shows I'd like to watch but if we are reading all the time those other things dont happen lol
@ that’s amazing and inspiring! I don’t think I ever could! I used to be lucky to read more than a book a year so I am pretty proud of myself when I read more than 1…. You girls inspired me to read so many! ❤️
ahh that is good to hear! I mean I only hear good things about the series so I have high hopes. it's a lot of books and very long though so a bit daunting
Thanks friend! 120 books is still a huge accomplishment. That is awesome! I ended the year at 107 and am very jazzed about that. New year, more books to read!
Some of the books you mentioned sound interesting, will def be looking into a few of these, especially the first 3. Thanks for sharing, looking fwd to your book reviews.
That makes me so happy that you enjoy! I wasn't sure how introducing book content would fit with the wax community, but seems like there is a few of us that really love both hobbies!
@ I appreciate and enjoy the variety. Much respect to all of you that take the time to create comprehensive content for wax + a variety of other life topics! (Especially here on YT I enjoy most bc it’s not a doom scroll black hole of time). 😁🫶🏼
I’m not a fantasy person but I read the first crowns of niaxia for book club and really liked it. My goal this year is 100 books. In 2024 I read 64 so I think it’s doable. I’m going to have a Kristen Hannah year of reading because I loved The Women so much. I’m going to read A Little Life with you this year and we can be broken together 😢😂
The Women was amazing and yes you need to read all the Kristin Hannah! I love her historical fiction novels. 100 books is amazing and you can do it! LOL on a little life. I'm scared but also very excited to read it. Thank you for watching, Brooke!
oh gosh I read so many of them. It's really hard to say. Check out my monthly book wrap up videos! I always have thrillers in there that I give reviews on.
Stephen King is such an amazing writer! I have 11-22-63 on my list and I think you will LOVE The Stand!!
Yea!!!! 🎉🎉🎉 it’s sooooo goood!!!! Please let me know what you think!!
He is exceptional. I for sure have to be in the right mood to read his books, but I love them usually when I do.
A little Life, hmmm, I may put that on my list! Oh, yes, The Nightingale my favorite! A Gentleman in Moscow is EXCELLENT!!
Everybody i've seen review it gives it 5 stars and also is crying so I think that's a really good sign! haha as twisted as that sounds
I have been holding off on House of Leaves for the same reason!! Ok fine I will make it a goal to read it instead of collecting dust😊
We got this! 2025 is house of leaves reading year
Gentleman in Moscow is one of my favorite books!! Loved this one
I've heard great things. I'm excited to give it a try this year!

Yes! I don't watch much TV, but there are some shows that I would like to sit down and watch that I feel I just don't make the time for. Balance!
100 books!! 😳 WOW!!!
I ended with 107. I'm really proud of myself! Thanks for watching, Melissa!

I started outlander but didn’t get very far…. Same with show… looks fun!
They are very long it looks like too. I'm excited to give the series a try!
I had a friend who read Outlander and she was obsessed with it!

oh my! The book House of Leaves is very intriguing. I'll watch for your review before I consider it LOL
lol it is daunting but I think will be fun! At least I hope so
