@@SlateBlueC4t No more Asylum seekers in europe?
@@besg5725 yes, those young men should be in their own country working for their own country, it's quite safe there if you can leave the children and the elderly there.
@@besg5725 Those asylum seekers are productive workers who pay taxes in your comfy country and at least some of them aren't called to die if they move away
@@merjakotisaari9046 Oh so if their own country sentences to death men (to war) and women (to prison) is okay, right?
No worries, they got some children and elderly people in trouble as well.
About fixing your own country: a lot of them do try and all of them go to prison or "disappear". "Fixing" takes a lot of time and sacrifices. Some people want to live a normal life during this lifetime.
Go Finland!
Good for Finnland
Thank god for Finland
Notably these asylum seekers are young men exclusively.
Greece was saying that Turkey instrumentalised migration in the same way as Russia. The EU and DW had an extremely aggressive stance. Hypocrisy is off the charts.
Then again EU sent help for Greece to deal with the immigrants and has not held Greece accountable about their ways of dealing with the situation.
They blamed Finland too (also got critic from Amnesty).
Both are criminal warmonger states that have jailed opposition and are heading to autocrazy.
Until now, those who came here to Finland from Russia have disappeared to other parts of Europe, their primary destination is Germany, so aren't the Germans' minds gradually changing
"Calm and collected approach" Catherine Woodlard has definitely lost the plot
Duh. She wants to keep her job. If all European states closed the door on asylum, she would be unemployed.
You said it. You can tell she works in an office far removed from the reality on the streets.
As much as I don't like this kind of law I think that it is needed in this case. I don't think that all the people being sent to Russia are just asylum seekers. It really looks like Russia is weaponizing asylum seekers and also using that to get their own people in to do damage.
Yeah, its a complex issue for sure. And just for clarification, this law doesn't impose a blanket ban on immigration from Russia, or some absolute power to border guards at all times. What it does is that if immigration is purposefully machinated by Russia, the government can give the border guards the right to deny entry. They can't do that all the time.
You don't get to tell Finns what to do.
Or else what? You gonna cry?
Because the EU immigration policy is run by a swede. That is why Mediterranean countries can't do the same when they are affected.
@@thedamntrain Or else the Finns will do it anyway, no matter what.
Indeed, especially when it’s about Russia.
Want to bet?😂
International laws. What a joke.
@@gfutube1 Yes international laws are a joke. Cause tons of countries dont even follow them, one country is russia
HUMAN RIGHTS was a BILL of WW2..And Ment to People that lost their homes/ and got rights in every country they moved to..Not to Africa to move to EUROPE.?? Who Wrote that..?
Poland and Germany, even rest of EU should also have a isis deportation plan 😅
They should have a "bot trying to destabilise the west" deport program.

@@PHlophe watch the video. They are not all blondes:)
Deportation is a tool of Stalins toolbox.
Why?
Human rights are outdated, to ensure a country's safety, these measures are understandable.
There's a big difference between asylum seekers entering from Russia and Russian asylum seekers.
A huge difference, and they are only blocking this at the border, not at the airport, just as they did previously.
@@mesel7105 Border has been closed over six months. Now they hope to open it because of this law.
GREAT! KEEP US SAFE!
Even that Finland is richest country (quality of life) that borders Russia (Norway have very short border that I don´t count), it is true that most immigrants that invade to Finland are planning to continue to move to central Europe (mostly to Germany).
As usual Finland leads the way
This is Finland, Finland is COOL! Be like Finland.
I don't understand: Are the asylum seekers from North Africa at risk in Russia?
Russia needs workers as so many are being un alived in Ukraine.
@@susanwestern6434 Russia don't use these asylum seekers as workers. They get a lot of workers from Central Asia. These asylum seekers were brought to Russia exclusively to blackmail the Fins.
Russia is not exact a lawful state, they risk to end up as cannon fudder in ukraine.
Yes those are in problems in Russia. They fly to have short holiday in Russia and are dire need of free money.
@@pekkanumminen81 Those people were intentionally flown by Russian airplanes from African and Asian countries, then brought to the borders with Poland, Finland and other Baltic states. This way nasty Russian government torments people in neighbouring NATO countries. They tormented before people in Moldova, Chechnya, Georgia, Syria, Ukraine.
It’s about time! As usually must say this, I am very proud of my government , the law is passed!! 🎉🎉🎉
They got every right to protect themselves
EU migration laws are insane.
Jee! Hyvä Suomi.
Unlimited freedom is a threat for own existence.
In order to maintain rule of law, a society must be able to control access to it. This is the only way to ensure that the authorities are not overwhelmed, and that everyone's treated according to the rights guaranteed by law.
I am surprised to know that RUclips deleted my comment where I said, "I am opposed to Turd."
"Better way to manage the situation would be to have a calm and managed approach" What does she mean by that?? That is just some nice words but no actual content.
Every country in Europe needs similar law.
Good for Finland
Good for any other independent country with politicians with backbone and common sense.
The law was passed narrowly just a moment ago.
Not narrow by any margin. 167 vs 32.
@@georgey-b6080 But it was a constitutional change so it needed 5/6 majority to pass.
@@chippychipper2573I think the word you were looking for was "overwhelmingly"
It was narrow margin win and at the same time not so narrow margin... This law needed 5/6 majority of 200 representatives, to be accepted as a law now (emergency). Our government can now activate this law just in hours/days if a need arises.
@@georgey-b6080 Result shows how many Finnish parliament members are taking bribes from Russia.
And it did pass. more than 130+ ppl voting yes, and like 32 voting no.
Great now all of Europe can shut down their borders to protect themselves from the virus of the 3rd world
As a Finn I can say we 100% appreciate the comments supporting us in the comment section. Love
If people would stay home and fix their own country ....
Don't stay, move
Exactly.👍
Easy to say coming from a privileged country
@@SlateBlueC4t well, leaving isn't going to solve the problem, that's for sure.
agree, and it can't be that dangerous in your own country, if children and the elderly can stay there, if you compare things, from Ukraine came an asylum for children, women and the elderly, not young men.
Finland taking the lead! Congratulations 🙌🏼
The law is not according to international law and it's not going to be used now or in any remotely normal situation. It's going to be used only in extreme situations where breaking international law is the less bad option and obviously everybody hopes such a situation will never happen.
The majority of illegal immigrants who arrive in Western countries & the USA are not for asylum reasons but for economic reasons. They should not be given access to these countries but must go through the legal immigrant process created by the host countries.
Say no to bad habits
Rightly so. That was another nice trial of the migration issue going on since a while now - but this time the country followed common sense to set the law right. Let's hope other countries will follow Finland's wise decision.
There is no human rights in Russia. Problem is that many of the human rights people are not living next to Russia. You have to remember, Russia started it and Finland responsed.
but you need to remember that human rights are basic rights to everyone if we strip it away because they are seeking safety then it shows we are as bad as russians can be
