Today In this video we are making sandalwood soap at home. No more buying sandalwood soaps from shops when you know how to prepare this at home. The ingredient we need is pure glycerin soap as our base. In india the most popular glycerin soap is pears. It contains 98% pure glycerin. It costs 38 rs for a single bar. next we need is sandalwood powder. It can be either red or brown sandalwood powder according to your choice. Lastly we need almond oil. Without wasting any time let's see how to make it. With the help of a grater grate the soap. Using double boiling method melt the soap. When the soap has turned into liquid form switch off the stove. Now you have to act quickly here or else the soap will solidify really fast. Add 1 tbsp of sandalwood powder to it. Sandalwood brightens the skin, removes tan and prevents pimples. It also act as a mild scrub to remove blackheads and whiteheads. Add 1 teaspoon of almond oil. Almond oil moisturises the skin leaving it silky smooth after bathing. Mix well. Take a plastic cup. Grease it with Vaseline. Pour the mixture into the cup. Freeze it in the freezer for 3-4 hours. After 3 hours your handmade sandalwood soap is ready to use. It looks beautiful in brown colour and smells heavenly. One pears soap bar can make upto 4 sandalwood soaps. You can wrap and store this soap in your cupboard for up to 6 months. sandalwood and almonds are great skin food. This soap will not leave your skin dry after bathing instead you will feel moisturising effect on your skin right after you use the soap.
