Thanks for watching this video, have a happy crafting.
This is great! Not sure why anyone would give you grief. Perhaps they are not aware that 80% of donated clothing ends up either in the landfill or sold as scraps. Upcycling is a great practice for our planet!
I feel sad that this creative person is being criticized when you knew by the title of her RUclips what she was going to do! And it seems a bit presumptuous that she is being judged when perhaps she is doing the best she can with the budget she has to use what she has! And perhaps you are being presumptuous judging her when you have no idea where these clothes have come from. And perhaps That tells me that most of you have not shopped at a Thrift Shop lately. And perhaps you are being presumptuous assuming that she hasn’t already given away clothes that she could find no purpose to recycle and reuse. Rather than watching a video that you obviously have no interest in, perhaps you should practice what you are preaching and clean out your own closet and give these clothes away!
Thank you so much for the inspiration!! I’m really excited to finally get use out of clothing and patterns that I love, but unfortunately no longer use! Ignore the hate! Thank you for sharing your creative abilities!!!

It isn't "wasteful" if they are using it for another purpose, especially if someone really likes a print or fabric and just can't wear it anymore. Yes donating is possible and a good idea , but a lot of clothes aren't accepted at places, and it isn't always easy to find anyone who "wants" or "fits" those clothes. A lot of things taken to donation centers are also just thrown away or never used again. Also, for the people who say "send it here" "or take it there" who is paying for the shipping or transportation?
I appreciate ..love from nagaland
Irena, all the clothes shown here were intact, not torn or damaged. Orphanages in India would gladly take them. One phone call and most will pick it up from your home. You can't use more than a couple of recycled bags, beyond that it's superfluous. In my area, every Sunday a pickup vehicle comes from nearby orphanage collecting donations in kind or cash. All should donate used clothes generously rather than hoard items not worn for years or hoard it and allow it to deteriorate. Sometimes we keep giving it to the maid who already has enough. Its really sad.
@@Anione111 In my area, you are typically responsible for paying a fee for any pick ups. So it could make a difference where you live. And donation centers have so many things/clothing around here a lot just ends up in trash. aLso, half of the time places that resell used clothing will refuse specific items if there are similar items that have been sitting on the racks for a while. And there aren't any donation centers that we can go to for orphanages specifically, and if there are any, they are not clear about where clothing can be sent.. I know this, Because I donate clothing all the time. I have 2 children who constantly out grow their clothing.
Will those orphanages in India do pick ups in America from my home? If so what is the number/website people can call to make this happen? If you have legitimate resources, then please share with everyone and help people out. But please don't make the assumption that because someone repurposes something, that they aren't trying "hard enough" to donate. What is simple for you may not be as simple for everyone.
Also, you may not think repurposing clothing into a bag is useful, but would it be better if people just bought already made bags from new materials than using the materials they already have?
@@irena6317 nicely explained yourview👍
@@irena6317 Amazing response. I totally agree. I am from India and there is no pickup of items/cash/clothes to orphanages. I mostly donate the best items to street kids or maid..(but that is also tough as the items should be of use to the person recieving it.). repurposing is more environment friendly and sustainable.
One of best videos reusing old clothes . Excellent projects.
Instead of wasting nice clothes can give it to poor people who needs... it will help to them...
That's your idea,u never know if he or she does or already did
@@themarvinsohana9488 whether she did or not I don't know what I thought I said that,s it.
Your are absolutely right
I don’t know about your area, but in my city it's really hard to get people to donate clothes to. I should know, I have bags full of them I've outgrown of, and things that became too large for me. Clothes are cheaper now, and even low-income people can get what they need. They don't want secondhands, unless they’re winter clothes. So most of my old clothes go towards cleaning spills or things like that.
Nice thought, but my amma used to tell that, we shouldn't give the used clothes to anyone. , if you want to donate, give them new dresses.. and another thing is, we used to exchange our dresses with sisters and brothers or friends.. that also we shouldn't not do.
This would be good for a beginner like 12 years old. It would teach them the basics and give them inspiration
So clever... All the ideas! And such a cute way to demonstrate the finished product, with the little child ! Wow, Hetal... Wonderful... God bless.
Love the pillow hack, no. 6 I think! 😊
Wow superb 🤗
I like the toy pouch and cushion cover ideas!
Love the bag for your kid’s toys!!

tnx for share
Super👍👍
all are useless nobody use these cheap purses , please donate these clothes to needy peoples
Your model is adorable!
I used to donate my clothes until someone told me that my donation was actually being used for profits like reselling it in thrift shops.
As I grew up, the moment my clothes were either too small or a year or so passes, I would donate it. If it was stained I made them small and dressed my dogs up. Of it was torn to no extent of fixing I would just cut them into pieces and decorate my walls with it.
Now I have a partner with too much clothes, and we have no space. This video was awesome and now I can do something with this (literal) pile of unused clothes!!!!
Ur model is really cute!
Amei Parabéns👋👋👋👋❤❤
Dresses very gud PL give for poor people items are not good looking don't waste dresses
Very nice
I like how judgimental are those people who have 0 youtube videos or probably have never sewn anything in their lifes... Just way to go.. Hope youre proud of yourselfes 😁😁👍🙃
You're illiterate hush
Eli Pluma.....
Assume Much??? 🙄
@@khaliyahliyah6444 omg...soo crazy....I would like to see you write Latvian and Russian hush 😀🤣
I agree. How dare people demand this person donate their own belongings. Very VERY rude. These are her things and she can do with them what she would like.
Hey! Great creativity and skill, keep going!! Recycling is the best favour we can do to make our planet better.
videos like these are almost always worthless but this one is priceless, thanks 😊
Thanks for these tips on how I can reuse my old clothes.
Love the ideas very useful!!
Beautiful design in minutes
New to you, old to her! Thanks for showing us your creations & keep them coming!!
The fish bag was cute. The red net one you could probably use instead of those little plastic ones when you buy fruits and veggies.
All art r really excellent.
These are not old clothes.. These look pretty new. Please donate to poor people if u have so many extra clothes or make masks and distribute amonst needy. Please don't waste clothes.
This is literally the opposite of wasting clothes. They’re making new things out of them, not just throwing them away
It's not wasting It is good to resuse the ones you don't wanna wear
A+ for Effort!!!!
D- for Originity!!
I agree with others here....Instead of cutting these up to make the "same ole' BaG!!"
Why not Donate these, to other people that are TRULY in need of THOSE CLOTHES!!! Many of them Desperately!!! These bags are OK! And you've done a nice job!!
But! I see a MUCH more IMPORTANT purpose such as Donating them! AND... If you can't decide WHERE to donate as there are Literally hundreds, thousands, of Options!! Domestic Violence is ALWAYS happy to get such donations!!! Women, most with Children, very often Flee their homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs, in order to escape a Very Dangerous (sometimes Deadly!!) Situation at Home with thier Abusive Husband's, WITH KIDS, in Tow!!
Something to think about....
I believe you may Literally be Changing someone's Life!!! And giving some over wrought Mother, Who's trying to PROTECT herself and her kids... not only something that she probably truly and desperately NEEDS!!
But also something that to you is something likely personal, but small, but to that overtired, frightened Mother, means the World!!!!
Please!!! Consider this....🙏
I'm fact...You can also donate one of the bags you so beautifully made...Along with the Clothing still in tact! These women and children need Angels such as You!!! 🙏
@Eliana Chan
The capital letters are a long time tradition from my years of teaching very young early elementary grade school kids! I used to capitalize words that held especially outstanding meaning in some way, to exsentuate the word! A method I learned from one of my Professors in College! It's just a habit from years gone by!
Some habits never cease!
And, No offense taken!! 😊
@@annettegreen1152 yeah i guess they did reuse the clothes but m2n2 was just sayin if you do have old clothes u dont want then donate them
Amzing

Super
They are making old clothes into useful cloth bags... That's a good one... Do anything that adds value to society 😊. Not just donating is the one and only idea. Figuring out many other possible ways to improve the world is a good choice 😊
Very nice work Mam
That child has given up on feigning surprise as mother transforms the pile of ironing into yet more bags...
My emotions exactly! who needs so many bags?
Amajing idea
Very creative ❣❣❣
All ideas excellent.👌👌👌👍👍👍
Nice
All ideas excellent.
Cute baby 😍😍❤️❤️
There was a time when living was simple. In these days everything is according to the changing Fashion designs and color schemes. Every year you need to reorganize your home with new colors schemes. Nowadays these efforts are effortles.
What you mean?
@@juliemills4634 I agree one doesn't have to change everything in their home or wardrobe! Just change a few....key pieces!!! If that!!! Or, You can modify last year's clothing!!! Otherwise it's literally being WASTEFUL....
Explain THAT to the Homeless Woman sitting on the street curb with 3 small children....That YOU, are unable to help her get a good meal, that she and her children so desperately need! Because it's Autumn now and you NEED to decorate your fancy home, and replace your entire wardrobe again! (Because you're tired of Last Years Fall clothing!! ) when ALL that Homeless woman on the street corner with her children, is PRAYING for is That YOU will give her a dollar or two, so she can purchase a hamburger from McDonald's to split between her 3 little kids! And She/Mom will drink the free cup of water that came with that one Hamburgers!!!!
Be kind, and Be generous!! You never know when YOU TOO, may need help!!!
Complete waste.. already seen.. Tearing of clothes doesn't make any fashion sense
Nice
Awesome
So many varieties of bags....o my god
Cushion cover idea 👌
Nice purce
That's really creative 😃
These old clothes idears are cute. And the little girl in this vedio is adorable 🥰🥰
Very nice thanks
Love watching your videos. You have so many great ideas..
Very cute little kid
Nice tips 👌👌
Wow some of y'all are EXTREMLEY rude! How dare you demand this person to donate her things. She has a child and all the poor people that could have used these aren't her problem! Seems some of you like to make drama. I bet you even think of yourselves as "good people" because you would have donated the clothes yet, you guilt and shame someone for repurposing their property. That makes you all bad mean nasty people. Shame on you !!
Que criança fofa!
Very innovative.
Good work thanks
So nice 👏👏
Very good ideassuper
Wow nice
Great!
Nice💞👌 Love it
Techniques and methods used can also be applied to making something else like last one can be used to make curtain too.
These all are nice clothes donate these
All are awesome
Creativity is nice but I think we can’t take these bags for outside better to to donate a clothes to poor
Yup
Really good
Little Girl is so cute❤
I've almost bought one or more of those flat, drawstring bags several times!
Baby very cute
nice
Кое что возьму на заметку. Некоторые идеи заинтересовали.
Thanks for all this invaluable information on recycling clothes! Please do a video on how an ordinary person can remove thread from clothes that were/would be thrown away to weave new, useful fabrics.
Are you serious!!
@@Anione111 Yes. Did I offend? Repurposed threads could be used to weave new fabrics. They could then be used for new purposes in many applications, even in building construction. Threads are cut and removed to do beautiful pieces of hand embroidery even now, as we interact. I was hoping someone could show us another way to remove & repurpose thread, sustainably. No harm intended.
@@I-Will-Pray-For-You Frankly, thought you were joking. Certainly wasn't offended. I have never heard of this being done. Even after hearing what you have to say, I just think the end doesn't justify the time and effort.
Excellent
Good ideas
The little girl is too cute
Thank you for sharing. Love your ideas as will definitely be trying some out.
Awesome old clothes creativity design. Love it 👍
When the Hetal's art appeard I read Hetalia :0
Good job
Dear Ur Amazing💕 fantabulous work
وااووو جميل جدا😀
Who needs so many bags??!! Most DIY recycling videos are on bags and purses. Can't anyone make something really useful?!
Superb keep it up👍
To all those that say that these are good clothing that should’ve been given to poor people..
Even charity shops get oversaturated with un-sellable clothing..which end up in landfills. A charity shop is not a dump and they cannot accept items that have rips, stains and same with poor people..if it’s given in a good shape then fair enough, but if you donate clothing that cannot be properly used just so you don’t throw it yourself, that’s plain rude. If you feel ashamed to wear, why would other people..
Repurposed clothing is a good idea to save clothing that you cannot otherwise use anymore. Even leftover material can be used as filling for pet toys for example.
Some people upcycle as a hobby or a business, some lack funds and others just want to do something for the environment..either way..it’s their clothing and they can do whatever they want with it. So instead of saying stupid things online, mind your own business.
ur arts are really very special
