    I think if Tatum wasn’t on a stacked team like he is, he would be doing the exact things Colin wants but because he’s smart and doesn’t wanna break up the best duo in the league he defers to jaylen and others to maximize his winning probability by keeping everyone happy. Meanwhile he does average damn near 30

    It was so cathartic watching Cowherd's face during Russillo's Celtics take. The slander that Tatum and the Celtics get is unreal. What have SGA, Brunson, Mitchell, Booker, Embiid, or Jimmy Butler accomplished that Tatum hasn't? Those are just players that are the same age, or older than Tatum.

    • @pmarcig
      @pmarcig 9 месяцев назад +5

    • @kennystar9075
      @kennystar9075 9 месяцев назад

      Exactly. Has Tatum been on good teams? Yes, but since he took over the Celtics and became the guy, it's really only been the last 3 years. Those ECF teams that lost to the Cavs in his earlier years were decent at best.
      2022 was a disappointing loss to the Warriors, but Steph went nuclear and Tatum wasn't good.
      2023 was a poor showing against the Heat. No excuses there, but you can't be a rationale fan and expect the Heat to shoot .434% from 3 and the Celtics .303% for a 7 game series again. That happened and one can argue if Tatum doesn't roll his ankle they complete the comeback from down 3-0.
      This year they have to take the step. If they're healthy and don't win then you can start really giving legit criticism.

I see this at work all the time, so many Americans have main character syndrome, where they actually believe they are the center of all things and just don’t give a shit about anyone but themselves. The NBA becoming less relevant over time is largely mainstream sports media’s responsibility. Mainstream sports media does nothing to market the NBA during the NFL season. They’re too focused on short-term ratings and it provides no smooth transition to watching NBA. The NBA even put in a mid-season product and the mainstream media thought it was more important to talk about a Will Levis breakout game. The only coverage the in-season tournament got was all of mainstream media hating on the Lakers putting up a banner. How can mainstream media do nothing but hate on the NBA for 4 months then flip right after the Super Bowl and think people will care?

    If you made a list of all the things the perfect QB would have or be able to do - you're describing Mahomes. Not only does he have every single quality you want a QB to have - he's the best in the league at them. He literally has no weaknesses. NONE.
    There is a point where the ability to run is a negative. Allen and Lamar rely on it too much and as a result will never be the pure passer Mahomes is. He's the perfect amount of mobility - he's the highest rated scrambler you can get - without being a runner.

    This is an odd podcast network, because it’s probably got the literal best podcasts ever. That being said. Colin is one of the most pathetic sports media figures and is constantly condescending while incorrect. He also relies on great content creators to float this platform. Beyond that he’s managed to bring middlekauf down to his level rather than rising to ‘middlekauf who has been a fantastic football podcaster pre cowherd. I can’t help but respect the powerhouse that the volume is, but I also can’t pretend cowherd isn’t the same loser who’s constantly wrong and talks like he’s the only logical person on earth. It’s honestly confusing and jokes on me at the end of the day

    I see how Colin slipped in ppl are happy about seeing Taylor Swift at the game. Except the internet. Lol. Like the internet doesn’t count. The “Internet “ has ALOT of NFL fans. And we are SICK and TIRED of seeing TAYLOR every 3 seconds. So no politics and PLEASE no TS!

    He’s way better than Brady …. He wins in ways no one has ever done. Maholmes is using his legs, arm, and brain. He won with terrible terrible receivers lol. Brady could never ….

      He's more naturally talented than Brady (Same is true for Rogers, Marino, Elway, Manning, etc.) This is what makes Brady accomplishments even more incredible, that he was able to do so much while being so physically limited. Patrick had Kelce for all of his wins btw, a first ballot hall of famer.
