When you were talking about the chair lift falling. Tina and I laughed. That's the same thing we think. Not that far, but we would roll a while. We were there a few weeks ago. Didn't get to see the snow. Thanks for sharing.
@tedandtinasadventures.9225 You are very welcome. Glad y'all enjoyed the video. Every time I'm on a chairlift that has just that one little thing over the line, it makes me nervous. It doesn't look like it would take much to make it fall.
We were in Gatlinburg at the same time as y’all and would have loved to have met y’all! My husband and I just recently found y’all and love your videos. We are also Christians! Thank you for all your videos!!
We would have loved to have met y'all. Where are you from? Next time you are in the area, and if you see that we are uploading videos from there, drop us a comment or a message to see if we're still in the area. Maybe we can meet up! Thanks for watching!
Wow! The view from up there was amazing! I'm glad that you stayed the extra day to make this video for us. Mt. LeConte looked so majestic, sticking up through the clouds with the snow on it. I would really love and enjoy that view, but I would be just like your friend. There is no way that I could do that bridge either. I would have to take the trail as well. Once I got to the other side, by way of the trail, I could sit there all day and look at that amazing view. Thank you for sharing this with us and for your knowledge of the mountains. I always enjoy and appreciate you pointing out and identifying for us the names and attitudes of the mountains. Our God is truly amazing, and creation declares and proclaims His Glory. "O Lord our God, how majestic is thy name in all the earth"
Amen to that! God's creation certainly is beautiful. We had hoped to take the chairlift up Ober Gatlinburg, but it wasn't running. Best view of the Smokies, and no bridge, either. Thanks for watching!
The snow is so pretty. My Mother and I went up that lift over 30 years ago. She passed away a few years after that. We went up there in the summer time. It is so pretty up.
Oh my! Y'all froze me to death just watching you! It was beautiful, though! Thanks for taking one for the team and sharing these beautiful views with us! Safe trip home!
Yes, it was a very cold day. We are glad you enjoyed the video! But for some weird reason, we love being out in conditions like this. Thanks for watching!
I'll never forget being at Ghost Town when my husband and I were on the chair lift going up and two boys shall I say young teenage boys we're swinging back and forth with people telling them please stop and that arm you speak of bent and caused the chairlift to stop they had to get the tram halfway up the mountain fire department had to walk across the mountain to help people we were up there for over 2 hours a bit frightening. Now back to the view , it's beautiful thank you for taking us to the sky bridge.!!😊
Wow! That was quite an experience! I hope I never go through something like that, because I don't know if I could handle being stuck on a chairlift for 2 hours! So glad you enjoyed the video from the SkyBridge!
We'd love to know your thoughts on it. The admission has really gone through the roof, and the only times I would pay it, are during the Fall leaf season, or after a snowfall. Not sure what time of year you will be there, but it is nice during those times.
Our first time on the bridge was just a week or so after one of the glass panels. cracked. There was a boy running and jumped on it and it cracked and they had plywood or something on it til they got it fixed. That was what was said causing it to crack. I love the view from there.
I love riding the chair lifts up to the SkyPark. The views up there are breathtaking, and you did an amazing job capturing the views. We go there on Easter Sunday every year, they provide free rides to the top and there is a beautiful Easter Sunrise service held up there. Ober also does the same, free rides up and a beautiful sunrise service. We’ve experienced both, and I think we prefer the SkyPark service, but both are amazing . I loved this video!
We have heard that they have sunrise services up there, but have never gotten to go to one. Yes yes, it is beautiful up there. We are glad that you enjoyed our video, and the things we were able to capture. We appreciate you watching.
Beautiful views. We haven't been up there in several years. It sure has changed a lot and they have added so much. We are thinking of going up there when we go in August.
Yes, they have added some things, and the view is good. The only time I would pay the high admission cost now, is peak of Fall leaf season, or after a snowfall. To me, those things are what make the view so spectacular. But they do have a great view, and have added a lot of nice things.
So pretty. I could never walk the bridge have always been afraid of swinging bridges. Not sure I could ride the chairlift anymore. I did a couple times growing up but my fear of heights is way worse now. I do remember watching it ever summer growing up because we stayed at Midtown Lodge that was right near it.
I was using 2. The first part of the video, was shot with a Sony ZV-1. At one point (around 20:34), you'll hear me mention that I'm getting ready to use another camera with better zoom. After that, I used the Sony AX-43A Camcorder. The last part was filmed with this one, because I wanted better zoom to see the Clingmans Dome tower. At 21:23, you can notice a change in the sound of the audio. That is when I switched cameras. The camcorder sound isn't as good, but it has a much better zoom.
Truly wonderful footage of the SkyBridge attraction hoping to visit sometime soon, Have you guys done a stay review of Park Vista i have been to the building but never stayed but looks so Amazing
Wow! What camera do you have that zoomed into Clingman's Dome tower? Wonderful video. I love that you don't rush, but take it slow and let us take everything in. So beautiful up there! Thank you so much!
@bevp3749 You are very welcome. We are so glad you enjoyed the scenery. The particular camera that allowed me to zoom up on the Clingmans Dome tower, was a camcorder. It is a Sony AX-43A.
Thank you so much for sharing this video you show us some amazing views that I had ever seen also thank you for telling us what each mountain was.
You are very welcome. We are so glad you liked the video and the views, and appreciate your comment.
Awesome video, GOD does some beautiful work.
He sure does! Thanks for watching and we're glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks so much! We truly appreciate you watching and commenting.
I will admit, it was VERY cold. But the view from up there was really nice.
I love the chair lifts. The last one I was on is on my honeymoon when Maggie Valley had hers back in 1973. Love the video. Stay warm. ❤❤😊
Thank you so much for watching! Chairlifts can be a little scary, but they're fun.
The snow is so pretty. My Mother and I went up that lift over 30 years ago. She passed away a few years after that. We went up there in the summer time. It is so pretty up.
@retiredandpreppingquilting2350 Yes, there is an amazing view from up there. Glad you have gotten to experience it.

@NCMemoryMakers the incident with the chairlift at Ghost Town was on the news that evening needless to say it was a bit frightening..
Enjoyed as always
Thank you for watching!
Wow!! 😍🥰❤
Thanks for sharing!! We have been up to Anakeesta but never on the skybridge. What a beautiful view. Next year we will have to do it.

That would have been scary. I don't know that I could have walked out on it, knowing a panel had just cracked.

Oh man I love me some No Bake Cookies! Yum!
Yes, one of my favorites. I was kidding with her about making them. She has made them lots of times. I was hinting for her to make some more...LOL.
