  • In this vlog, we're back at Cedar Point to review the rides, the roller coasters and more at this world famous amusement park. The Cedar Point rides and roller coasters have come under criticism for reported break downs in recent times, so did that impact on our last day at the park? Would we have another great time at America's Roller Coast, even with Top Thrill 2 remaining closed?!

There’s only one word that sums up Cedar Point Tradition. You come once you have to come again and again! It truly is a very, very, special place with such a rich History!
When Gemini debuted in 1978 it was a MONSTER in height! There was nothing else around in the park to compare it to back then. It was back in Frontier Town all by itself. You could just make out the top of the lift hill and the turn around from the parking lot just over the trees. It was nuts seeing that! When Magnum debuted in 89 your jaw dropped seeing that lift hill from the parking lot. It was absolutely insane! It’s hard to put that into perspective today. You really had to be there back then to see people’s faces when they saw it,and experience it yourself. It left you lost for words. It really was a euphoric experience. Such a historic coaster and Ron Toomer’s design of it was and still is absolutely brilliant!

Thank you, and I can only imagine how it must have felt seeing Magnum for the first time in 1989.
The Big One still gives us the same feeling in Blackpool, but it’s sadly nowhere near as good and is showing its age now.

Yes! I remember riding Corkscrew in 1976 on a school trip when it opened and being scared stiff of going upside down on a coaster!

@@PatrickRyan150 I remember the long line for it 76 and how people stood in awe standing there looking up at the train going over top of their heads! That was so cool back then. I remember that like it was yesterday. I was a little kid back in those days. I wasn’t tall enough to ride it its first season.

I'll never forget being 16 and seeing Magnum from the causeway in 1989! The commercial back then was right, Even when you see it, you won't belive it. Still one of my favorites

Really enjoyed the vlogs thus far on this trip. As someone with Valleyfair as their home park, Cedar Point always felt like a bucket list place for me too. As a kid, my brain could not fathom they had a ride that was over twice the height of the “tremendous” Wild Thing. The excitement I felt driving down the causeway to the Peninsula the first time was unmatched. Really a one of a kind park!

Another entertaining vlog and great footage of the rides around Cedar Point. Steel Vengeance would be the coaster I would love to ride but I would ease myself towards it by doing the tame coasters first. 👍 Happy days. 👍

@yourexperienceguide Oh, I think so. One thing about Emerald Park is they put huge effort in to a new project to about 90% completion then they run out if steam and give up. And they are not great at maintaining the ride area as the years roll on. Case in point- Viking Voyage queue line props falling apart, same for Dino Dash where some of the dinosaurs do look like they actually were manufactured before the ice age!! 😃 😀 We'll see what they do anyway.

@@robwarner9371 It’s an interesting decision because most vloggers will try and work with parks, but nobody should be censored especially when they’re passionate about the park and industry.
