Been on Flair a couple times. I actually appreciate their existence because it keeps Air Canada and WestJet in check, and adds more competition. Canada needs that. Porter is probably the best we have currently, with their expanding regional and Q400 and E2 service. They're the reason Air Canada decided to add free beer/wine. But Flair is the only surviving ULCC after Canada Jetlines and Lynx went out of business very quickly. The actual flight was fine, no frills and everything I needed. Now, they did temporarily mislocate my bag once and trying to use their customer call services was a massive pain, but I did get the bag back. Other than that, I feel like people act unfairly to budget airlines when they get what they paid for, too many people expect first class service you'd find on some widebody international flight. Flair's got clean, modern aircraft and its best to travel light with them, but they have a place. Hopefully even more competitors in Canada come over time.
Canadian aviation is a tough market to crack. The country is huge, with such a small population. It really makes running a LCC or ULCC very very difficult. I'm honestly surprised Flair is still around. I hope they make it though!
Nice work B, super video as always and really enjoyed the cloud surfing on this one! 🙂 Happy belated New Year and I hope that you and the family are all keeping well, kind regards, P from across the pond!
Thanks my friend. Unfortunately we've been better here haha. While I was gone on my Caribbean trip, my daughter got strep throat, but she had basically gotten over it before I got back. Then as soon as I got back, I got influenza A, which has been nasty. Then my daughter caught that from me, so we've both been sick for a week with that. Now today, she's tested positive for strep throat again, even though she just had it two weeks ago. So we're one big sick family right now haha. Hopefully it all passes soon.
Sorry to here of your news re: sickness, hopefully you'll all be feeling better soon. I hadn't had so much as a cold for years, then in January, bang, nasty head cold, chest infection and cold sores through too much blowing of my nose, yuk! There seems to be a lot of it going about at the moment 😞Take care for now!
@Jason-b8l2vWhat does have to do with related to his aviation channel? And you somehow made a new account that you shouldn't made because Google keep blocking your account and yet you still making new account that Google doesn't like it.
Parlez-vous francais, Monsieur Skylite? Wow. Those are some dark skies for May in LA. Anyhow, the BIG news is Groundhog Phil saw his shadow this year. Looks like we're in for more winter weather, so batten down the hatches. This time NOAA and Groundhog Phil concur. And guess what: it's showing here right now. Anyhow, another fine video on your part.
We have what’s called “May Gray” and “June Gloom” in LA, the gray clouds are common during those months and is caused by the difference in temperature between the cool air near the ocean and warmer air above it
Lime green color on it is cool
Cool clouds! 👍👍
Another great upload and share and thanks again my friend ! ..
My first time flying on Flair was on short 1 hour hop to YQT from YYZ 2022 then 2024 again from Calgary to Toronto
Cool video! You flew over my house around the 11:30 mark.

Flair air has unique livery
They do indeed. It's nice when airlines are a bit more adventurous with their liveries, isn't it?
