If your tyres are below 15 PSI, you can go on the soft sand terrains without much issues. However please refill the air as soon as you get on to hard road terrain. how much low can you reduce the air pressure - you can go as low as 10 or 9 if your vehicle is badly stuck. however as soon as your vehicle comes out of difficulty, please refill. If not, the rims of the wheel could damage the tyre if driven for long time.
