You guys do the best reviews of status on RUclips. Hands done. I bought Cyborg because of your review. Other reviews act like they have art degrees and probably only took a art class in elementary school. They drone on about paint, quality, and criticize the detail of the statues. I’d like to see them do better. Most reviews couldn’t put together a Revell model. But they sit on RUclips and act like critics. Art is subjective so I give them that. But you two get excited about astatue like a regular customer would. And youont try to act like you are a precessional art gallery owner. That shot pisses me off. Thanks guys for the awesome reviews.

That sword and shield is fantastic.
The Head sculpt isn’t only painted sub par, but the sculpt seems wrong too. Like she’s preparing for battle but is kinda bored about it.🤷♂️. Love you guys together. Great pair. And DC 4 Life🤘🤘🤘
DC4 Life mate, well talking to the artist im getting to do the face repaint he said the shading was done all wrong and the eyes painted too close together which gives her that bored look so he thinks he can fix it with a repaint
i would have been fine with it if they went along with the original head sculpt. hell i pre ordered it on account of that. i was so bummed when i got my piece with the new had sculpt.
yeah it sucks that we as collectors need to find painters to fix statues we spend a lot of money on. Hopefully the new wonder woman pf is a lot better

Not you guys but I’ve seen some other statue collector bitch about the increase in prices. Well they way I feel is if these so called collectors or people would stop buying statues and putting them on amazon or eBay for more than double the retail price maybe statue makers wouldn’t be raising prices. Why wouldnstatues makers and companies not raise prices of their statues if people are making exhorberan money off of their work. If they raise the statue prices it will dry up the resell market. So people have no one to blame but collectors reselling statues. And it annoys me people who put down a bunch of reserves to tie up statues just to decide if they want it or not. Either shit or get off the pot. It’s globally sold products. No one person has control. Everyone should have a chance to buy something they like. And I don’t think most people buy on liking a statue. They see a low exclusivity number and just bu again in the hopes to make money off of it. That’s not collecting. That’s called investing. Just my 2 cents. But agains thank you guys for your helpful insights.
Mark you are 100% right mate "flippers" are a curse on the hobby. When I sold off all my marvel pieces I made damn sure I didnt charge over what I paid for them as I had the befit of enjoying them for the time I owned them so only fair to share the love.
Thoughts on the whole prototype vs final product issue? That big of a difference?
On this one not that much of a difference I feel as the original proto pics of the face sculpt weren't that good either. The main test will be when the new Wonder Woman PF comes in this week or next
On one of the livestreams you showed off the finished painted head portrait. Definitely way better than the original! Reviewing this piece again with the new head? Need to see that one.

I own this piece and rare defender of it. I love 95% of this piece. That 5% of facial actress likeness is a shame, but I'm still happy with it. The skin is understated in giving her this lived in quality with the debris.
I have a Wonder Woman Gadot 1/3 coming from Prime 1 this year so see if they can get it 100% right.
If its anything like their 1/2 scale prime 1 did it will be amazing, and your 100% right the rest of the statue is in my opinion flawless thanks for watching mate

I love the character so I’m okay with a piece that doesn’t resemble Lynda or Gal. I have a couple that don’t look like anyone. The new SS PF shipping now doesn’t look like anyone.
I appreciate you guys and others that want a piece to look like Gal because I love her as well. Lynda still has a solid fan base and I’ve experienced people not being as accepting of Gal.

Oh I Love all the wonder women since I was a kid and grew up on Lynda Carter, We have the Alex Ross classic one and the new one coming in is the Rebirth version from the comics, we just want that good Gal Gadot head sculpt so we can have the entire BVS lineup. Love your comments and thanks for the continued support it means a lot to us.
I have this piece in my collection. The hs has very little resemblance to Gal, but the rest of the statue is pretty good. Let us know the end result after the repaint :)
Mate agree 100% the statue itself is excellent just not the gal we know and love. Ill do an update when i get the head back she shipped to the painter today.
I preordered this when it first came out and I like it! To me it’s another Wonder Woman statue for my collection. Yes, it’s a shame that it doesn’t look like Gal and hopefully with the WW sequel coming out, they will get the next one right. I know they “resculpted” the face from the first prototype shown when the statue was first on preorder, not sure why they thought the second sculpt was a better likeness, but, the one that you get is slightly better then the second sculpt shown as the prototype in the pictures, right before the statue came out. Am I the only one who thinks she looks like Cher?!? Lol!

Yes the Chinese painter was too busy but i have found another recommended skilled artist from the US John Allred and yes hes on fb

The face doesn’t bother me as much. I know it could be better but what bothers me more is her build. She lacks y muscle tone for me. I know Gal is slimmer and has more of a ne models figreut we does have a uscluar tone that I think sideshow didn’t capture. The price is right but it lacks the sexy muscular tone as the PF one with the lasso has. That statues has a beautiful body. But the negative is yo u have to attach the shield or you have a hole on her back where the shield goes. It’s fusatior me because I can choose which statue to get. Because I can find negatives wit them both but the one with the shield on her back is way more of an attractive statue.
