Well sims I think the big tester will be wonder woman and how she ends up in hand but judging by batwoman and now this Superman, its gonna be a great year

There has been some issues with breakages with the first batch that went out but luckily mine was perfect, hope yours is too peter

I have this piece in exclusive version as well and absolutely love him! Best superman on the market. And I don't like the old style undies way to grandpa look. This version is so much better.

Cant believe I skipped out on this one last year! I missed out on the exclusive edition, but luckily Sideshow still has the normal one up. Went ahead and bought it. Easily my favorite Superman statue(besides the Prime1 Hush series).
He really looks great alongside the old Alex Ross themed one they originally did a great mix of past and present.
The head and costume are growing on me but I was always impressed with the base design. Looks like it turned out great. I love the fist imprint in the EX head. Great stuff man.

Congrats Jason on this awesome piece. I'm more old school, so I prefer the original Sideshow Superman piece with his red trunks, which I own. But honestly, I'm going back and forth with myself on wether I want to obtain this piece or not.
Honestly the alex ross Superman (SS OG) was my fave but when I got this in hand I was blown away with the detail and sculpt of the new one. I pointed out that they finalised the sculpt then action comics 1000 gave him back the red trunks lol
This will look good with Prime 1's New 52 Batman.
I am actually going to get the new Sideshow one soon as I think with Wonder Woman these 3 will be excellent.

They look totally amazing and i'll have to see what the pricing is like when they are for sale here locally as the shipping and taxes on them pieces are killer to pre order here from prime 1 direct.
Thanks for the review. I think you have an issue with those "sharpie" lines under his armpit. It looks like they attempted to do a wash and highlight the suit creases, but forgot to wash off the black to the periphery. I haven't seen this on any of the other reviewed pieces.
Yeah it looks like it I hope your right because I was going to try and clean them off with a magic eraser, but if what you say is true a damp cloth would do the job. This does also seem to be a recurring issue with this piece as 3 other people I know had the same issue with it.
Let me know how it turns out. I checked with some other collectors who saw your vid and don't have that issue. If you can't get rid of it and it bothers you, make sure to ask Sideshow for a replacement!
I enjoyed the review, now I am more tempted to get him. But his face is darker than the OG.
That he is PopcultureFate 29 but they look awesome together
the premium format man of steel is the worst of the lot. a wasted opportunity.
Have to say other than the black marks which Sideshow says are within standard variance (lol) this was an amazing statue so yes I agree wasted opportunity for sure
