Oh man thank you so much. You just saved me sitting for 5 days waiting for the dealer.
This job is very much doable by the average guy. That 1 7/8 socket is absolutely necessary. Mine wasn't as easy to twist off. I had to slide an Alan key into the hole to give me the leverage I needed.
Btw this part costs $1,158 at the dealer now. Not happy about that but I saved days and labor costs.
Thank you sir.
Glad this video helped you! You are welcome!
@@truckingandfixing the Def light cleared immediately and I was gonna ask about when the check engine light would clear and it just cleared 20 minutes ago
What's your opinion on putting heat shrinks on the connectors to prevent this from happening in the future?
I've replaced that harness, but still in a 5mph derate. Hooked my scan tool up and it still say open circuit on doser valve. I heard it's 2 other harnesses on it that I might need to replace. Do you know anything about those harnesses(part numbers) and where they might be located

Another great vid Ryan...it was a pleasure talking to you last week about our apu alternators.
Same here!
I have a question mr ryan.
My apu runs for two hours some time 3 and after that it shuts off with alf code or eng code,i change the compressor put new one but still having same issue so what could it be?
Apu is thermo king
Sure you can be successful if you can fix your own truck, expecially at the level Ryan does. Even during lean times you can stay afloat this way.
Been watching many of your videos. You can fix anything
Bro you are the man.
I'm thinking need to replace mine. My ecl was goimg off when it rains. Now it goes off intermittently getting progressively worse.
Those were GREAT TIMES WITH LANDSTAR
Thanks for a great video. It’s very educational. What’s the part number for the harness and how much does it cost?
Great video, having the same issues with my freightliner Cascadia. Thanks for sharing .
No problem!
Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks
Wondering on the next load board video can you so the Texas market thanks in advance

How did you take the big comnector off before you used the socket
Hey Tyrone did you manage to get the big connector disconnected and if so how
@@solidcirclewealth1802 i believed i used a pair of channel locks
I can’t get the big plug to unplug is there any advice is it a screw lock in plug or does is just pull out ?
Hey Ryan I have a2015 isx15 and it keeps making soot . I have replaced number 6 injector and it didn’t start this till after rebuild. I feel like a vibration about a 1/4 pedal. Is it possible the throttle sensor could be bad? I’m stuck trying to figure this out. It has 5.20 oz of soot. I regenned it earlier about 4 hours ago. Can’t figure why it’s making soot. Any ideas
My truck is doing this now. Took it to the Kenworth dealer and false codes came back.
Good info
I've was considering getting mine deleted cause I couldn't get to the real nox sensor, I didn't think about putting a 2×4 2 left cab up
Can an scr be repaired or does it always have to be replaced?
You could theoretically splice all the wires to the terminals assuming your terminal's connections are good.
Get a otr performance reset tool all owner operator should have one
I have otr performance it doesn’t do anything for 2017 KW t680. The SCR shows on my screen

Bummer it works great for me on my DD15 it rests the ash and all of the after treatment systems plus any codes that it throws up
What’s the harness part number ??
For anyone seeing this video now , it’s a twist disconnect on the truck side of the plug to disconnect the wiring harness
Would this wiring harness cause the aftertreatment fuse l8 to keep blowing out?
Same issue did you get it solved?
Hey Ryan, I’m getting a code 5493 on my isx15 I was thinking of changing that harness you just changed, new dozer valve, and still the dozer is not pushing def into the system
Did you change the def filter, have you check the pressure/flow weight on the def pump?
Got a question, i noticed the connection plugs for the DPF inlet/outlet pressure sensors are brown and blue, are the current or up to date connections different? because I don’t see any brown or blue plug ins for the KW/Cummins trucks I’m currently working on
It was the same as the original one it had with the same color.
Hey ryan, so my 2019 Kenworth t680 Cummins isx15 threw an engine light on the dash. My PDI is saying intake nox sensor heater abnormal rate of change fault code 3649. However on my PDI my scr in temp is a constant 32°. It never changes. my scr out temp is 223°. I'm thinking I need to change the intake n o x sensor to clear up the intake nox sensor code of abnormal temperature change. But why would my scr in temp be constantly 32°? And am I right about changing the intake nox sensor? I don't want to just be throwing parts at this thing, because just the nox sensor alone is $600.
2018 paccar mx13 I get code p1496 I replaced egr valve thinking that was the problem need all the help I can get
How's that PDI tuner working out.
Thinking about getting one myself.
It is pretty useful for live monitoring, trouble shooting and force regen.
@@truckingandfixing perfect thanks be safe out there...
How many miles do you have on your truck
710,000 miles on the truck
What was the code?
Keep getting code 3165 scr temp sensor output
Truck turns off when it's about to do a regen driving ....I get a stop Truck 🚚 light
Hello i have a volvo 2016 780 automatic ...i bought yesterday in la
They tomd me was driving good
Driver drove to el paso washed the engine en now it doesnt drive more then 40mph nd it die ..any idea what the issue can be or what he did wrong please ...need help
There is water somewhere in the connections. You need to get the code which will tell you where the problem is, then find the connection and dry it out.
I made a video about engine wash, maybe watch it to see it anything makes sense. Getting An Engine Wash At A Truck Wash - Be Careful!!! ruclips.net/video/-EtY8kK0Wdo/видео.html
looks like someone has poked the wire at some point while troubleshooting.
Would you like to give me a parts numer or something how I can find on internet, thanks
It's astonishing how much corrosion the truck has...mine is 06 and I have very little rust.
Anyway great video, be safe.
I don’t know why you come on someone page watch their video and put a thumbs down
