I must say that you have become one of my most favourite booktubers and every new video is a direct watch. I’m so glad, that I still have some of your older videos to watch so I’ll always have something to watch. ❤
Okay so like can we get a full room tour it’s so nice I love your vibe completely unmatched and your book taste is immaculate just finished half a soul and it’s my first 5 star of the year thanks to you!! 💚fav booktuber🫶🏼
muderbot is definitely on my mental tbr!! they seem really fun and absolutely like something i would enjoy, i'm really hoping i can check it out soon!! so thank you for reminding me that i want to pick them up!
Just starting my journey through the Cosmere this year and read Elantris at the end of March and finished it in 3 days. It's been my favorite Sanderson book so far(I've read Skyward, Warbreaker, first two Mistborn books, and reading The Hero of Ages right now). Excited to start Stormlight soon but I already feel like Elantris is really underrated in the grand scheme of things.
ah i really hope you love stormlight!! all of the books in the cosmere are great, but stormlight is just something else! and i absolutely agree that elantris gets overlooked a lot when talking about the cosmere!!
I loved the Tithe series back in the day. My favorite book is the second one, Valiant. Its definitely a product of its time, but its one of my all-time favorite series.
I would love a video of you talking about all your Stephen King books and your favourite ones. I have been getting into Stephen King books but I don't know where to start
i don't know if i will be able to make a video about it but i can definitely elaborate on it in this comment!! as for my fav stephen king books, those are definitely pet semetary and salem's lot! pet semetary talks a lot about grief and it's so well done and definitely give you a heavy sense of dread throughout the whole book, and salem's lot is just a good time and i love the supernatural element at play in it! as for where to start, there are definitely a few books i would suggest: - pet semetary, i feel like this is king at his best honestly - misery, this has more a thriller feel to it and will keep you turning the pages - firestarter, has a sci-fi feel to it and a great father-daughter dynamic so i hope that helped!!
I picked up a physical copy of The Invocations the other day (because the B&N edition has pink sprayed edges and I couldn't resist). I loved House of Hollow, and you just made me even more excited to read The Invocations! Just gotta finish up my current reads first - I'm reading Dune and Addie Larue right now. I read anywhere from a few pages to a few hundred pages per day - it varies a lot.
if you loved house of hollow then you will absolutely love the invocations as well honestly!! (also the b&n edition is stunning, i'm just sad it doesn't have a dust jacket, but the pink pages are SO tempting!!)
Love your videos! I get so excited when the notification pops up, they really help me get through a stressful day! Much love, hope you’re doing well :)
My dogs love to watch RUclips videos and they were loving your asmr journal bit lol! I love your videos! Thank you for being such a genuine and awesome youtuber!
one thing about Hrathen is that he's pathetic. and unintentionally hilarious. he's my favorite character 😂 and ofc Sarene and Raoden are great too. glad you enjoyed it! Elantris is by far Sanderson's most underrated work and i'll always defend it.
hrathen is absolutely pathetic haha, i feel like i would definitely appreciate his pov more on a reread because i totally see why he's your fav now!! and elantris is definitely very underrated, i feel like so many people say it's not good when i ended up really loving it in the end!!
I finished reading The Invocations last weekend and I loved it. Krystal Sutherland has a very dark and wild imagination. The world building was impressive (I particularly loved the scene where they all visited Emer's family home. The description was very graphic, eerie, and vivid! Sutherland is now officially an auto-buy! I gave it a 4.5 stars. I am so glad you enjoyed it as much as I did 😀
Such a fun challenge video and I have no idea on my average amount of reading because it depends on my mood as well as my children's moods and my schedule that I have. Fun vlog and as always happy reading!
KATIE! You need to read the manga Witch Hat Atelier!! You would absolutely love it. The art style is absolutely gorgeous, from the character design to the elaborate wardrobes to the fantasy scenery-it’s all so beautiful to look at while reading. The characters are so sweet and have such heartwarming relationships with each other, but there’s also some characters who seem to have hidden motives and are keeping things secret from others, as well as a foreboding sense of darker magic at work. It’s the perfect cozy witchy fantasy series with some of the best illustrations I’ve ever seen in manga. Please give it a shot! It’s currently at volume 12 (I think) and the series is still ongoing.
you have sold me!! i went and picked up the first volume at the library after seeing your comment and i will be starting the first volume tomorrow!! it definitely sounds so amazing and has been on my radar for such a long time, so thank you for finally reminding me to get to it!!💗
I think you would like the Silver trilogy by Kerstin Gier. The original books were written in German but there are English translations too I think. Its a ya fantasy with a little bit of romance.
Hi katie I hope your okay ! I love your videos currently watching all of them and I had a book recommendation for you that you might like ! It’s the herbwitch apprentice, and the herbwitch princess ! It’s regency with witches ! I hope you will love them !💗
On average from Sunday - Thursday I read 150 - 250+ pages a day. I normally get 3-4+ hours of reading in each day. I don't read much on Friday and Saturdays.
You should really read the Cosmere novella "The Emperor's Soul". I think it also takes place on the same planet as Elantris even though it's not really connected, but it's such a good story!!!
I bought The Invocations in February or March, but thanks to this I'm definitely going to save it for either autumn, or a time in summer when I'm just begging autumn to hurry up. (So, probably June XD). Also, if you've never read the Tortall series by Tamora Pierce (starting with The Song of Lioness quartet), I want to recommend them to you; based on the types of female characters you like, I think you'd enjoy those books from an author that inspired a generation (Alix Harrow mentions Tortall in the acknowledgements at the end of Ten Thousand Doors). She's my all-time favorite author, with my favorite female heroines (although I prefer her Circle of Magic books) and I've been re-reading her book for a very long time.
loved the vlog! so relaxing to watch while working. you might have already said this in a video but where's your grey twilight forks sweatshirt from? i love it so much and i nee done myself haha
I'm so happy that I got a Halloween Bag from Haribo with the little bags in it and they are so delicious. 😁 I found them not long ago in an Outlet Store nearby my Hometown. Do you have read "Starling House" by Alex E. Harrow? If her writing is good I wanna look forward to read "The Ten Thousand Doors of January" also.
the haribo halloween bats are top tier halloween candy!! they're my favs! and i read starling house last year and really liked it, but it's completely unrelated to the ten thousand doors of january!
I have a book by Holly black called the coldest girl in cold town and it’s apparently about vampires and I really wanna see you read it before I do lol
Hey Katie! I had a thought. Your journal is so beautiful, have you thought of selling them? I assume that people would be interested to buy a reading journal that we can write in our self. Thank you for the content💗
I think I average about 50 ish pages when I am reading, some days I read nothing at all lol When I’m super engrossed in a book I’ll read about 100. I just have a hard time staying in one place just reading, even if I’m absolutely loving the book
I must say that you have become one of my most favourite booktubers and every new video is a direct watch. I’m so glad, that I still have some of your older videos to watch so I’ll always have something to watch. ❤

On average i read about 30-50 pages of a book per day, sometimes when i'm REALLY into a book i will read over a 100 pages.
Love these reading vlogs!
i think that's about where i fall as well!! and thank you!!!
Since starting your videos, I have watched every video you’ve created up to this one. The marathon continues! 🫶🏼
This cat of yours is totally gorgeous. 🥰I'm either melting from cuteness or laughing. 😊
I think you’d adore the murderbot diaries, it’s 7 books and they’re all super short like less than 200 pages and they’re such a cool sci-fi series
I second this! Love Murderbot so much 🤖
muderbot is definitely on my mental tbr!! they seem really fun and absolutely like something i would enjoy, i'm really hoping i can check it out soon!! so thank you for reminding me that i want to pick them up!

Moehrenkunst is also one of my favourite sticker small businesses! Love the fact that you ordered from there ❤
their stickers are so cute i couldn't resist!! i will definitely be buying more in the future!!
i got elantris in a library sale for €1 in hardback! i haven't read any of his books before so i think that's ideal and i'll read it soon :)
The Ten Thousand Doors of January is one of my favorite books!!! I hope you get to it soon! 🫶🏼

OMG YES A MULTITUDE OF DREAMS 🎉🎉🎉🎉 I’m having the time of my life watching this 😂
You would like the Scent Keeper! It was written In 2019 and sounds a lot like the magician’s Daughter… haha. But a really good read!
I really like your video editing style, kind of minimalist, so wondering if you could share what editing app are you using :)
You should really read the Cosmere novella "The Emperor's Soul". I think it also takes place on the same planet as Elantris even though it's not really connected, but it's such a good story!!!
i read it last year actually and i really loved it! the magic system was so fascinating!!
What an awesome reading vlog, I love this concept but there is no way I could do it 😅 200 pages a day is beyond me
thank you!! and 200 pages a day was definitely a stretch! but doing it just for a week was super fun!

I like to imagine that I read 100 pages a day but realistically it's more like 50 😅
Amazing vlog as always💖. I typically read like 100-200 pages a day but I can also have days when I read 600 or only like 50 pages lol.
thank you!!💗 and i love a book that makes me want to read 600 pages in a day!! doesn't happen often but when it does it's the best!!

Tithe is much darker and dirty than The Cruel Prince in my opinion. I love Holly Black's book because of how gritty they are.
absolutely agree on that! and i love how gritty they are compared to tcp!!
Dont know why, but when i see her i think of a boho/indie kendall jenner 😂❤
Great vlog. 🌷🍄🦋🌈📚☕🦇👻
If the book is good i read probably ~150 pages, if its amazing it can be even 400 pages😄
