Hello again! I love your info!!! I have been vegan for 10 years, I don’t like all the tense emotional talks people have about it. I’m not here to push it on anyone, I am here to be educated. Is there anyway you could teach me about the effects on my guts microbiome by eating only animal free products? Is there a risk of a lack of diversity in this way of eating and I should be actively focused on introducing different healthy bacteria to my guts microbiome? I am aware of the most common disadvantages, of b12 iron zinc omegas etc, and do what I can there. But i am curious if there is another blind spot of health that needs my attention and intention, the gut microbiome. Looking forward to more of your content 🤞

It would be great if you also could cover the nutrients that help tighten up the tight junctions and mitigate leaky gut, such as beta glucans, and sulforaphane, etc…check it out, it’s in the literature. Don’t just describe the problems; give us the info to address and fix them.

Dr. Perlmutter-is it true that we need variety in our diet to be healthy?

It's not an absolute. But research suggests that more diverse diets may have a number of health advantages.
