My son is the same age now, it's so nice to see someone else in the exact same stage of life at the same time. My house is so full of baby stuff now and I honestly love it. It's so colourful and joyful, it makes our house feel like a home filled with life.

I really appreciate your discussion of working on discipline, especially related to learning! I took guitar lessons when I was younger and for some reason, I gave it up. Now I'm older and I want to learn it again and I can relate to the frustration of if something doesn't come to me right away, I will step way from it. I need to start praying for the self-discipline to stick to certain convictions or goals! Love ya girl! Always awesome to learn alongside you 💛

I’ve followed you and Paul for YEARS…from love and dating- to culture and social issues- to marriage and intimacy and have always had respect for you both. You do not deserve all of the hateful things people say on the internet about you…then again Jesus told us “…if they hate you, know that they hated me before they hated you.” So you all are blessed. Thanks for pushing through that and creating content that blesses us. I will be praying for you.

Luca, is just the cutest! It's a joy to hear the laughter of a child.
My son, bought a guitar late last year. He is really good at learning quickly. He's showed me two songs so far. Meanwhile, I'm learning to draw this year. I've never been much of a drawer, I'm creative in other ways. Definitely, the only way we'll get skilled at things, is to put in the hard work! God, being the greatest Creator, inspired me to get back into being more creative!
This made me so happy❤
Oh Morgan, I gonna take this as a motivation to get back into regular instrument practice :D I learnt to play piano when I was younger but cant play properly anymore. But I got a cheap guitar from a friend and tried to learn 😅 I might set new goals for myself.
And I am also the type who tries out many new things and enjoys it.

So sweet!!! I didn't know about the leaps thing, I'll need to look into that to figure out Faiths leaps! It makes total sense now cause it seemed like I blinked and she was all of a sudden aware of the whole world around her and now she loves to look at everything! She's also sleeping 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 hours for the first part of bedtime so I'm thrilled about that! Two months old yesterday 😊 and recently the Lord has been really growing/convicting me in the area of sharing certain things about other people that I might see as negative or strange to make myself feel better. I need to stop with that. I don't know if it's actual gossip per say, but what I do know is that the Lord is telling me it's no good, and that means it's no good. Prayers appreciated cause I seem to slip a lot! I know it starts with my judgemental attitude sometimes... I first need to get to the root where I should change my perspective and view other through Jesus eyes instead of my fleshy eyes. I want to be a good representative... no, excellent representative to my daughter of Christ. I wouldn't want her to see that and pick up on those actions or words of mine. Motherhood can really shift the way you do things for the better!
How’s you get Luca to take naps independently? Our 3 month old baby girl lovessss her contact naps 😭😭

My five month old screams if I try putting her down to take naps in her own 😭 it’s either complete contact naps or starts contact and then transfers for like 10-20 extra minutes with me out of the room…. Basically she rarely naps apart from me 😰

Im not sure if this will be helpful, but usually, the way I learn how to play a new instument is I just start learning a song. That will cause me to learn all the chords that are in the song and the strumming pattern, and it keeps me motivated because I can hear my progress and see the payoff.
Morgan! My son Jude is the same way! He gets bored so easily and it can be hard knowing what to do all day LOL entertaining a baby haha

Hi there! Just wondering at what age did you start the nap time routine? Have a newborn now and just wondering when is best to start the routine.
I really feel that about learning new things I've been trying to learn how to draw and if it's been so hard and I want to give up but I know if I do that all regret it because I'm getting really really good at it my mindset is the drawing doesn't look the way I want so I shouldn't be doing this instead of I'm getting better
I would maybe suggest (if not guitar) picking up the Appalachian dulcimer. It’s easier than guitar in my opinion, at least in the beginning stages and isn’t as heavy

Hey Morgan, can i ask you something that I am thinking about a lot in raising children: how do you interpret the bible saying that you only love your child when you discipline it and "dont spare the rod"? What are you plans for discipline with your children?

Wow!!!! Listening to you be real real real about how you used to think about things had to come or be easy or it wasn't for you haha except marriage jiji. And then how you got married with someone that is decipline and you weren't really. But when you had to or really wanted to do something you'll do it! It sounds just like me except for the trying all that sports stuff I did when I was in elementary the most but as soon as I got into middle school and seeing my older brothers having romantic relationships with girls and even getting married and having kids as teens I wanted to do just that so I did but I didn't get married and I have to kids.

How long does he sleep!? Does he get multiple naps a day? I’m still about a quarter of the way in. . You really have that nap routine down! He’s so good!
You can do it! (learn to play guitar) - go easy on yourself and embrace the process of learning. Every wrong but corrected note is another seed you plant. One day your flower will sprout and you will be writing your own tunes!
