Prop 65 standards for warnings are often very stringent. *For example, for reproductive toxicants, the level for warnings is 1000 times lower than the lowest level at which animal studies reported no reproductive health effect. Given that 4 Sigmatic costs around $32, I believe that I will stick with Eight O’Clock from Kroger, brewed a little strong in a French Press and just black.
With the Four Sigmatic, most of the use by the hosts and advertising is for the Instant coffee they make, which imo would be the better way to get the most of the added medicinal properties, but also worth noting and maybe doing a review on their instant line. Those are only 50mg caffeine per serving I think
I listen to a good amount of JRE so i ordered Black Rifle a year or two ago, but I remember being disappointed by the quality of the coffee. Glad it wasnt just me lol. Good video!

Bonus points if they include some cringy intro where they shoot their own guns at other coffee brands. Definitely makes me think "Do you love the coffee or the brand?".
Just bought some (shroom coffee) . Tastes pretty good to me! We'll see how it goes. It does seem a bit smoother and less acidic than regular coffee, which is nice.
Light, Medium, and Dark roasts actually have nothing technically to do with the colour of the resulting brew. It is about roasting time and does affect the colour but does not guarantee the colour. They were named by primitive people because of the result in colour but is not a jurisdiction of classification. A medium roast can easily be darker than others dark roast. Even when the medium roast has a shorter roast time. It depends on the beans being roasted and you said the CAF is a blend of unknown beans types.

I’ve been putting coconut milk powder, turmeric, cinnamon, paprika, blk pepper and a tiny pinch of cayenne pepper, for years. It’s delicious. I also often drink the Four Sigmatic mushroom coffee, and occasionally a product called “BioCoffee” which already has flavoring and is sweeter than the mushroom.
I think the other roasts from Black Rifle are good. Instead of trying the extra caffeinated stuff, just get a light or medium roast blend from them. Seems to taste pretty decent to me.

This is, the regular Balance. They have come out with a reduced caffeine version, which is delicious, but I have to drink more, of course, to get the same effect.

I found Laird Superfood Latte and Hot Chocolate on my own after sampling many other performance mushroom blends. It's by far the best tasting and no caffeine but really good. I know you are a coffee guy but please try the other Lairds products. I don't drink coffee. I often have a red bull but i prefer my blend at night without caffeine. Also let's not punch down on gas station coffee. 7-11 Kahuna Blend with a vinilla creamer kept me going through college and my early career. Mc Donald's on the other hand. Ggggrrrrroooosssss
My friends and I had a mushroom coffee tasting recently, and Four Sigmatic was fine. Definitely levels above their previous instant coffee packets. Mudwtr was also decent, though more chai than coffee and pricey. Ryze tasted like bile. As a reference my favorite coffee is Peets Major Dick.
I feel like you're being super unfair to Black Rifle. They have tons of other coffee types and you chose the one that sacrifices flavor for caffeine. That's like trying to determine the best Ford car but the only car you test drive is the Pinto. The Blackbeard roast, AK, Silencer Smooth, etc are all phenomenal and amazing tasting coffees. In fact BRC is probably one of the few brands I can drink straight up black. Their CAF coffee is not their best tasting because it's sacrificing taste for caffeine content. So in my opinion you were extremely unfair to their brand man.

i moved to china in 2017 and the coffee here is so bad i quit drinking it.... even the starbucks plain coffee, i don't drink milk, is horrible i couldn't find any coffee that i like and 2 years ago i quit drinking it all together...

Around the fall seasons Peet’s Coffee has a Golden Latte which has turmeric in it. Very subtle.

Turmeric is super strong flavored. I made my own 11 superfood powder and the turmeric overpowered everything else
