Thank you so much. This is my position and I feel way more confident about it now that I know a better technique. Also, I have a game today. Wish me luck.
I saw a lot of techniques how to play on the Tackle position....with angle A.... and Angle B... and knee to crouch....how to attack the Defense End... or not to attack... I paid a lot of money for all the videos... they are all nice , but I like this video because LinePro Football try to explain it easy.... with easy words what a young athlete can understand.... and with words what a coach can use easy to explain how to play it....nice video !!!!
Carsten the Tightheadprop wow thank you for the comment! We always try to make things as plain and simple for all involved. Sometimes when I watch videos from other coaches out there, it even goes over my head and I ask myself “who is this video really for?” It sounds like they are just trying to sound smart. We want young players to win and grow in confidence every day ❤️
It will always be better to control half of the defender than all of him. Unless you're a behemoth of an offensive line athlete, but you still need SWEET FEET!
@@nickfritzsche2327 If there faster then you at least from my experiences there isn't much you can do besides try to get up faster then just pancake them to make sure you don't gotta deal with them anymore.
What is your honest opinion to acclimate having a tackle in a 2 point stance in a run protection? I left tackle and for some reason when I get in my 3 point I feel a little off balance but coming in a 2 point I’m able to push off the ground from the palms of my feet could this mean I’m not properly stanced?
if you’re right handed a 3 point stance will feel weird as a left tackle. The point of a 3 point stance is to make sure you get a lot of knee bend so you can get the proper pad level to drive a defensive lineman back. So don’t worry so much about how much weight you put on the hand, just make sure you take your steps low and aim for the inside of their shoulder pads on the first strike, and bring your hips through. You can still do that in a 2 point, just make sure you are very low and explosive in your stance.
Thanks this really helped me I remember writing this comment 😂 i was getting ready for this smu camp and i won all my reps because of this video thank you bro i use these tips still today
That happens a lot in high school. Unfortunate but no big deal, In obvious pass situations you can still adjust your 3 point stance to be more ready to pass set but still have your hand down lightly.
@@lineprofootball7632 Yeah it's really annoying for me because I play better in my opinion in a 2 point stance instead of three and then I also have hip problems.
If you're in a 3 point stance don't put too much weight on your hand this will slow you down a lot use it as stabilization nothing else. Shoot your hands and get inside the pads and move your feet. Don't stand up either.

LinePro Football I think something about how to stop people who are faster than you in games would be helpful!

My biggest problem is pass blocking always have played defensive now I’m a O end starter 😂
Thanks for the tips
I hope this helps I’m having the problem of staying in front of him and turning my body right away
So by "Unpadded" One and Ones, you are meaning, out of pads during practice?

When you're coach doesn't allow you into a 2 point stance 😭

One Play at a time! Trust in your ability and preparation and play fast! Play confident! You got this
@@lineprofootball7632 thank you I’ll do my best
How can I fix my holding problem
Keep your hand inside and keep him close don’t let him get extension on you if he does get it anyway pull back and give a punch
Better feet
Hit the pads, don't grab the jersey it's not that hard to not hold
