  • A lot of people want to fight, but they don’t even have a clear understanding of why they have chosen to compete when Times gets off you’re gonna need something a lot more than just it sounds like a good thing to do or it’s a hobby because the people who really have their why clearly identified are going to be the ones that will defeat you win the competition reaches the higher levels. I challenge you to tell me what your answer is in the comment section, and also tell me if your first answer is different from your last answer?

this is awesome. I am 36, started boxing late. At this point, I want to eventually fight amateur fights in Masters division if possible. Why. I want to prove I can handle myself in difficult situations, and I think fighting is a perfect way to prove that to myself. I want to become overcome myself and confront my fears on a visceral level. As a man, I want to be able to handle myself. I want to prove I can and have overcome difficult situations in my life. And lastly, so one day I can look back and show that it's possible to pick yourself up even if you made bad choices in life. To prove to myself I can handle challenging situations and not quit. And to do that, I have to face the fire and not quit. I'm not sure if these are good enough reasons or if that makes sense.

Yesterday is the best day to start and today is the second best but copy but competition wise you will be able to compete in the amateurs until the age of 40 then there is a different division. But on a personal level boxing will check every box you described. To get you started I have a full breakdown on what to do and how to do it starting at home and carrying that onto the gym.

I want to be number 1 pound for pound and the most effective fighter of all time. Because I know I actually can do it. Because I figured out a way to give myself the best reflexes ever while having consistent mental and physical work ethic.
And I want to maximize my potential in a certain avenue. Because of my special mind and how I seem to think of, experiment, and notice things that other people don't think of. While also being able to afford a big family in America lol. I could have been a great singer and dancer but got into sports after puberty. Could have been in the NBA even at my height, because of my work ethic (summer break would shoot 6000-7000 shots a day. 10 hours straight) and figured out a clever way to steal the ball everytime my opponent dribbled a second bounce and would've been the best ever at that too. But I had chronic lower body injuries and ended up not being able to walk for years. But after thinking I'd never be able to walk again, I eventually did through so much rehab with dedication and consistency even when it seemed like it wouldn't make a difference. Becoming a huge sports nerd led me to watching and studying boxing. I've seen every relevant fight in recorded history, and most of the irrelevant ones RUclips has to offer. Even ones with 10 views between people no one ever heard of heheh. Just like I did with the histories of other sports. But all the thousands (tens of thousands really heheh) of boxing matches I could possibly find and view led me to seeing how fighters could be more effective in a variety of ways that conventional wisdom didn't consider as well as the holes they leave open in a variety of situations, angles of body parts relative to their opponents', and timings. So, for years I'd test out my hypotheses by myself or with assistance and have been discovering tiny details all the time that help me be more effective in less time, so boxing is the only sport left where I have a real chance to finally maximize my potential in something. Now, the hitting my opponent more than my opponent hits me part is easy. Conditioning will make the biggest difference. Also everyone I face at the pro level will have so many more years of muscle memory and technical proficiency with conventional wisdoms that I won't be able to win copying everyone else at most of their own game. Once I build world class conditioning and combine that with about 15 years so far of discovering outside-the-box strategies that actually work depending on different situations (and what doesn't work heheh), I can be the most effective boxer in the world and ever. Introduce strategies that evolutionize combat sports and finally maximize my potential in something

What brings the best out of me? Domesticated animals(Animals raised by humans) that fight: Gamebred dogs and gamebred roosters/chickens...they have to be seen live to cause the transformation of uplifting spirits and producing fighting spirits in us men. American Pit Bull Terrier and Game Fighting Roosters/Chickens, I'm talking to your tough, hardcore as can be asses. I can NEVER be as tough as them cause I actually tried to be, age 20 in 2007 to 2008 trying to be a professional fighter but they are where I get my willpower to fight from.

Coach V. The best advice I give to cats walking in my gym saying that they want to be boxers and compete I say how bad? I then ask them if they are willing to make boxing their priority. If they say yes, I put them through a tough workout day one. If they come back day 2,3,4,5 etc. Then I will make their goals a reality. 99 percent of these kids don’t make it one week. The ones that do are all champions.

I have been interested in these kinds of sport since I was 10: boxing, wrestling, fighting in general…although I have never practiced these sports. I don’t know the reason of my interest: maybe the ideas of fighting, sweating, the pain have always made me feel a strong man. It’s a good feeling.
