I move there soon too and the search isn’t easy. I definitely need to physically be there but I’m from Texas and don’t know the best way to move. Should I plan a weekend to search then fly out again with my stuff later? Who knows lol

yeah it's super difficult to move without physically being here, especially because stuff moves so fast - places will get rented out the same day they go on the market. i'm no expert but planning a trip just to go on apartment tours is definitely a smart move. also look into subletting for a few months or lease takeovers, if you can't visit in person, you wont have to commit to a place for a whole year, and it's possible to find furnished apartments as well
