    Ingredients:
    6 cups rice krispie cereal
    1/4 cup salted butter
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    10 oz bag mini marshmallows
    holiday sprinkles
2 bags of melting candies - 1 chocolate and 1 accent color
4 packages of peeps - assorted colors
    Directions:
Line a 9x13 inch baking with parchment paper for easy removal. Then lightly spray the top of the parchment paper with nonstick cooking spray so the treats don't stick later. Set that off to the side, and make the rice krispies.
To a pot on the stove, add in the butter and mini marshmallows. Melt on medium heat stirring frequently. Once melted, add in the vanilla extract. Mix that in, then turn off the heat and add in the cereal. Mix until thoroughly combined.
Pour your treats into the prepared baking dish and evenly spread the mixture out. Using your hands, firmly press the mixture together into an even layer. Let the treats set for about 30 minutes or until firm enough to slice.
    Assemble:
Turn your sheet of rice krispie treats out onto a large sheet of parchment paper. On the shorter side, evenly space and line up 4 peeps. Using a knife, cut out rectangles surrounding each peep. Repeat until you have cut all of your treats out. You should have 12 in total if making 1 batch. Trim up the edges if needed.
To a bowl, add in your melting candies and microwave for about 1 and 1/2 minutes, stirring every 20 seconds. Place the chocolate into a piping bag and drizzle it onto each treat. Repeat the same process if using another chocolate accent color. Before the chocolate has a chance to set, add on the festive sprinkles. To finish the treats, glue on a peep to the tops of each treat by using the leftover chocolate drizzle. Let the treats set for about 10-15 minutes before packaging. Enjoy!
