Hello again Chef, I continue to work my way through this project. An excellent education on what can be done in the home shop. I certainly agree with your choice of paint, but wish the video included you doing the painting. I have little experience here, but am amazed there is no sign of overspray. That HVLP gun must be the answer to paint control. John in Manitoba.
POR .Paint over rust . Por 15 i ONLY use over rust like the instructions say. If you would paint that frame it could fail using por with no rust to bond to.. I think your choice is much better for this application than por15 .

I envy your garage! It really holds heat well! And every time you paint in there I never see any overspray, Anywhere!
Looks excellent. Nice that you could get the garage up to temperature in that weather.
Looking better and better, good stuff Tush
You've prep'd and covered it the best you can and seeing as it won't see much if any foul road conditions I'm sure it'll be fine.
Looks good .I have used that paint many times ,holds up really well .
Looks Excellent!!! That paint will probably stay a little more flexible in the long run
Sprayed out nice, the black might be tad thicker
Looking good!
it looks great well done
looking good.
So I have heard a little cornstarch in the mix will flatten the paint finish.....
nice
nothing wrong with that paint. i use the tractor paint for my frame and engine bay stuff
must be nice to have heat in the garage. what do you do when you weld or paint? do you have fans or do you open the doors and let all the heat out?
