- This table is a first for me. I put together a dark academia style Halloween table setting for 12. We don't decorate for Halloween here, just put a few things out on the front porch. We are more about elegant vintage decor for Fall and then it's the Christmas season. This table I will admit was incredibly satisfying and fun to create. I first start with a long black cotton tablecloth for the base of our table. I show you the dinnerware used which is minimal in style since we are all about the centerpiece of this table design. I did not buy anything for this table except the eyeballs and the black candlesticks that you will see on this table. As a collector I had many things that I could use here that worked for this tablescape. Many of these items you have seen before just in different settings and purposes. That is part of the fun in regards to collecting like we do, there is so much to choose from and use when putting together a creative table like this. Jeff you should be a set designer, you didn’t miss a detail. This table has to be the best you have ever put together, I love 💕 it. The little bat 🦇 hanging from the shelf and the buffet table are awesome. I would come by for dinner but I’m not in “good taste” anymore, too old, mostly fat and gristle now. LOL 😂 great 👍 job Angela on the music 🎶

You CAN take any traditional theme and make it look classy! Love the buffet - more opportunity for displays.
The Egyptian items are clever, and the Anatomy textbook is priceless! You have showcased your collection of unusual items that don't really fit in other categories that much.

Had to go back and watch it again, and I'm glad I did because I missed some of the details while reading the live chats first time around. Missed the eyes, the fox pitcher, and the bat watching over the guests that will be dinning later this evening. Loved the tusked skull guarding the fruit, and those old Bibles are amazing. I sure hope you had fun putting this tablesetting together enough to do one every year because I really enjoyed it! Thank you! And man, you gave me the chills when you said, "Welcome to my house." at the end of the video, so now I'm feeling inspired to get my Halloween table setting together!

This was impressive, home decor and a theatrical performance in one video🎉❤. The ending was hilarious😂😅. I loved the dark, moody tone that you achieved, by using the dark ruby glasses and the black cloth. Black, gold, navy and burgundy always look elegant on a tablescape.

Best EVER! Tasteful, dramatic, theatrical and fun. My guests would never leave if I presented a theme table like this. Over the moon FABULOUS! Now I am thinking of doing a ghostly all-white Halloween table with opaque and milk glass! Endless possibilities. I do like fantasy tabletops. What's next? Alice in Wonderland? Phantom of the Opera?
