    As someone who used to play Arma 3 Liberation a lot, this is very exciting. Thank you for the walkthrough.

    I realize it has been a while since you put this out, but was curious if CSAR can be implemented in liberation as well?

    So how do you save it? Lets say you shut down your computer or restart do you lose everything and have to start from scratch?

    I'm trying to add the CJS Super Hornet modded aircraft, but I'm not sure how to go about adding modded aircraft. Could you help? If there's documentation I can look at, I can figure it out most likely.

      I haven't spent a lot of time adding modded aircraft in besides the F22 which is already supported by the liberation devs. You might want to check the github wiki for information on it. Or the guys in the liberation discord may be able to provide more information.

      When are you getting that error? When you try to open the Liberationmain.exe?

    I'm really curious if MT has helped you run the larger missions, where you mention the 2/3 ones cripple your machine.

    • @thumper8925
      @thumper8925  Год назад

      MT isnt available on the dedicated server platform yet. The update logs said that there will be one coming in the future. So unfortunately the larger missions are still going to be a problem. But what i can tell you is on my client machine I have seen massive improvements. Like double the frames i was previously getting so that makes me super hopeful for the day MT comes to the server.

    I have a problem, when start a new campaign, The Channel for warbirds, I wanted to choose the German side, I set the options and then when generates the map, Germans start from England, like they where defending Dunkirk, and Allies atacking. I tried the option "invert map" (dont know if fix this), but when I hit that box, after finish, dosent load anything. Is there any option to choose enemy side without changing ubications?

    • @thumper8925
      @thumper8925  2 года назад +1

      Since the campaigns are developed by different individuals that contribute to the project they aren't always optimized in the right ways. Sometimes the "Invert Map" option doesn't actually do anything. You could check on Github to see if anyone else has made the campaign you're looking for. But you'd have to follow the github guide on installing it.

    The default single player experience in DCS is 100% scripted. I was astonished to find that out.
    What’s the point of a simulation module if you are just going to fly it like a scripted movie.
    It’s crazy how few people care about having a real game to play, Ty for sharing this.

    If you have Combined arms, can I simply jump in a mission as an RTS game and control the vehicles and flights?
    Also, I see it generates many flight missions, can you make it generate ground ops too?

    • @thumper8925
      @thumper8925  Год назад +1

      Can you jump into a mission as an RTS game- Yes. With combined arms you can jump into the Tactical Commander slot and control the units that way.
      Can it generate ground ops- to my knowledge, no. For the most part the ground units are spawned semi randomly along the Frontline.

      @@thumper8925 Tried it at home but I got a little lost. I have the F15C and all the missions as BARCAP. I have a racetrack start and an ending.. Flying over them does nothing. Also there was no enemy to engage

    • @thumper8925
      @thumper8925  Год назад +1

      @@AlgorithmicHearts Often times the only enemy flights at the beginning of a campaign will be BARCAP flights deep into their own territory. As the game progresses they will usually start making strike and other types of missions.
