    I was a US Army paramedic from 1978 to 1992. The design of the rigs have changed over the years. Watching these videos brings back many memories. Police (military police), fire, and EMS on US Army posts are just as they are in the civilian sector. We had off-post mutual aid agreements with the local community to assist them as needed. Thanks for sharing. Peace.

    The Patterson bus (#39) had a very effective synced warning pattern! I think it was sinple and well thought out. It didn't need ten million LED's all flashing in different patterns like many of the "whacker" mobiles out there. Thanks for posting!

    • @demonracer2
      @demonracer2  4 года назад +2

      A first aid squad is the organization that runs and staffs the Ambulances, they can be privatized or run and owned by a city or township

    • @centralnewyorkresponses7887
      @centralnewyorkresponses7887 4 года назад

      Demonracer2 they can be paid, volunteer or a combination of the two. We have a private company, and combination, and all volunteer rescue squad.

    1) 8:22, I would have gotten out and slapped that driver and 2) do you know why Paterson's rigs have two different ID numbers?

    • @centralnewyorkresponses7887
      @centralnewyorkresponses7887 4 года назад

      EyeWatchThemAll one is general identification and the other is for dispatch so they can find what truck it is in the system. They’re not labeled in the system with whatever vehicle it is the dispatch system needs numbers. In my county we have a system where they have a single or double digit number for a station. Engines are 01-09 range, brush trucks are 11, 12 etc. depending on how many you have in that department. Since my station has 5 for the beginning of each rig number, it would be 501 for engine one, and 511 for our brush truck, our tankers would be 521 and 522 BC 21-29 are tankers, 31-39 would be ladders. Each one of those ranges depends on how many of that kind of rig you have. Ladder trucks are 31-39, rescue trucks are 41-49, ambulances that are public like MAVAC and Cincinnatus EMS have 51 and 52 after the digit of the fire department in that district. Chiefs are 61-69 captains are 71-75 and fire police captains are 76-79, Lieutenants are 81-85, Fire Police Lieutenants are 86-89. If you were talking to me in real life it would make more sense. Check my channel and you will kind of get an idea.
