Lovely fun watches! May I ask where in Japan, what area what shop(s) did you get those watches? Is there a hub somewhere for these vintage watches? Thanks.
I love the Advans. I only have one, with two on the way. The first one I think I'm going to get repaired as it was super cheap and it was a little damaged. They have some crazy looking dials.
I just purchased a 6106-7700 in blue very much like yours. I am very excited to see what the dial is like when it comes in. Also a flat replacement crystal but I'm eyeing a replacement original faceted crystal but not sure it's the right move to fully enjoy that dial. Any thoughts? And I love the Elnix! It's like a baby Spring Drive!
I hava a Seiko Skyliner, I like it a lot. What was the price range of these in Japan? Were they sold serviced / oiled? Do you get your watches serviced/regulated? That can be expensive in the USA.
Beautiful collection! Ahh can't wait to be in my dream country; Japan! Love the black Seiko 5 Actus. Seems like I finally found my dream watch. Minimalist, no numbers, black dial, with date, small, and timeless. Ahhh just imagining being able to find one and putting on a brown leather strap and wearing it on my wrist is a dream. One of my goals. Someday... Someday. Enjoyed your video. Thanks for making me discover the specific model of my dream watch. Hoping I could afford and find one someday or one of these days.
Nice collection! I was thinking: No other guy of my age like the Seiko vintage watch... My watch is a Seiko Bell-Matic 27 jewels (1976)... Automatic - Blue color in perfect conditions (new crystal and strap from Seiko)...
Hi i have a question for you, how much did you pay for that king seiko? Im a watch noob so it great to know what you payed for it because I would like to find one for myself. Thanks!
Wow I'm amazed you're into Seiko watches. i am too! bizarre coincidence we both own a6000, many lenses and many Seiko watches. Can I ask you what watches case is that and where you bought it? Does it have a glass lid?
Hey that last watch probably has the wrong Case back on it. That or the dial was a reproduction replica either way no way that’s the correct reference.
I love watches, and the Japaneses are amazing, for history, design, everything. That's a really nice collection. I have a Casio "vintage" and I love it. Great video!
Beautiful collection. King seikos are awesome, but they are a different of watches that were made in a different factory than the grand seikos. Their are grand seikos from that time period as well, the Grand and King competed against each other. The Grands were superior, but the King was still an absolute beast. More accurate and better built than almost everything the Swiss made.
For sure... Marine Sport SNN199 is my favorite and the most valuable, some Japan-SC in not great condition, of course 5 automatic (2x) in mint condition, Chrono Alarm 7T32.7C60 and Black Monster SKX779 which I'm working on to get in better shape right now.
Yeah, I'm really annoyed at myself for recently get into the older seikos. The whole reason I looked into Seiko was because it was affordable and now I keep seeing 400 dollar watches I want to pick up.
Nice collection. I have got two Seiko Elnix. Both were produced in apr 1975, and I was born in apr 1975.
I'm a Seiko watch guy but also an artist and trying to incorporate the both of them in one channel. Good choice in Seiko.
Vintage seiko's are the coolest.
Just got a 7019-6070, just like the black one you have there, pretty cool little watch somehow.
I love the flashy colors on some of the old seikos.
Lovely fun watches! May I ask where in Japan, what area what shop(s) did you get those watches? Is there a hub somewhere for these vintage watches? Thanks.
That first watch is beautiful & I can’t find a single place to buy it from :(
I love Seiko, I have the usual suspects, SARB 017, SKX007, but I also have a 1965 Sea Horse and a 1963 Alpinist, vintage Seikos are so so collectable.

A good friend had a seiko in the 70s with a faceted crystal like the green watch you have there. Never seen one until this video.

Still got the purple one in the same functioning condition? Throw an offer

I'm planning to go to Japan next year. Any recommendation on good spot for vintage watch hunting in Tokyo?

Can I ask you what watches case is that and where you bought it? Does it have a glass lid?
I'm the same A6000 and many Seiko watches.
That is cool! I bought the watch box on Amazon, no glass lid, I like how simple it is. I added the link to the video description if interested!
Me too! It's a small world after all..
TechnologyMafia looking at selling that king seiko?

Thank you! I agree, Japanese watches are pretty amazing the more you research them.
A leather strap always looks good on a SEIKO watch. I have a small collection as well, and all have a leather strap.
Very nice! Love vintage seiko :)
Did you find the crown?
No :( Still looking though...
Spencer Klein, another RUclipsr, specializes in repairing Seiko. He may be able to help you out. Awesome collection, thanks for the video! :)
Nice collection man
I have first one , on my hand right now

Good collection. Love the Seiko Vintage especially the 7016.
Just found myself a Elnix today. It's the 0703 7110 made in 1974. Beautiful dial and case design. It's plus a minute a day. Not bad.
