Bro I ve used gulf engine oil of same number as motul removing only one vault and without proper flush and changing one filter only. My question is shall I change new one with proper flush or shall I continue to drive for some kms.

Very good information about oil change procedure. Its important to know about proper oil flushing. However there is one thing that I would like to share here. The main difference between Mineral Oils and Synthetic oils , is in how long will the oil last before needs to be changed. Changing from Mineral oil to Semi-synthetic or even fully Synthetic will have very little (if at all) on the vibrations. Most people do not understand the reason for engine vibration. Engine vibrations are mainly due to the imbalance created by rotating (centripetal) and linear (reciprocating) motions. The effect of these motions is different at different rpms. You can have a very smooth engine at 7000 rpm but it will be vibrate a lot at 1500 rpm and vice versa. So single cylinder Royal Enfield Engines will have vibrations beyond 3000 rpms , no matter what you do.
So kind of you to share so many insides which normal mechanic will never ever share. God bless you with all the success. I will also bring my Royal Enfield for service to your garage.

Engine flush liquid is basically low viscosity oil. Even after allowing it to drain for a long time, some will remain in the engine. When you add new oil, it will get diluted slightly. It may or may not reduce effectiveness of the new oil. Too risky. And running the engine at 2000 rpm with just flush in it? Not the best idea.
True, and he didn't mention the quantity of flush to be added in the engine.. Different brand of engine flush has different amount to be added in accordance to the amount of engine oil in the motorcycle. No need to increase the rpm also..

Hello Rummy rider, I am using GULF 15w50 synthetic oil for Thunderbird Twinspark 350 2012 model. Using for about 10000kms, changed after 5000kms respectively. Bike is running smooth and feels less vibration above 80kmph. Are there any known issues for using GULF or any synthetic oil ? Debayan, from Kolkata
