    I'm watching this years after you made this video and from the jokes your husband was making about how many views you'd get on a good day to how many they have now as I'm looking and the fact that this was the first video to pop up when I looked up Everdell playthrough. I'm really happy for you. I got this game for christmas and was struggling to understand the mechanics and this video was helpful.

    How do you place 4 players at the table so everyone can get a proper view of the board?

  • @alaze1832
    @alaze1832 2 года назад +2

    Our group has a confusion regarding playing a critter card for free from the meadow when using a construction card.
    Let’s say, if there is a courthouse and a judge on the meadow, can people pay the cost for a the courthouse card and also take the judge card from the meadow immediately for free and play it for free next round?
    One player believes that you can only play a critter card for free if you have it in your hand, and not directly get it from the meadow.

    • @TwoSheepOneWheat
      @TwoSheepOneWheat  2 года назад +2

      You can play a critter card for free from the meadow. Page 9 of the rules says "Cards may be played from either the meadow cards or from your hand".
      you could play the courthouse paying its cost. then on your next turn you could play the judge from the meadow for free and place a occupied token on the courthouse.
      you would not take the judge from the meadow when you construct the courthouse immediately you would need to wait until your next turn.
      Hope that helps.

    If your playing with just 2 people, should you cut the deck down? My hubs and I played for the first time and we both ended up with hands that were almost impossible to play. So just wondering if there's like a have 10 of these and etc. Type of deck set up that would make it better to learn on?

      @@TwoSheepOneWheat can you explain how the storehouse card works? do you put what resource you want in it then pass your turn?

    • @TwoSheepOneWheat
      @TwoSheepOneWheat  2 года назад

      So when you play the storehouse card into your city, you select the resources to put on it. It will either be 3 wood or 2 resin or 1 stone or 2 berries. Then, on your next turn or later on, when you place a meeple there, you gain the resources. The card is also green production card so you will place more resources on it at the start of spring and autumn even if there is resources already on it.

    • @kailleferguson4243
      @kailleferguson4243 10 месяцев назад

  • @erynrevette7410
    @erynrevette7410 2 года назад +1

    I thought you were supposed to immediately replenish the meadow before drawing another card? Also, I thought that once you packed up for the season the other player continues until they pack up but you moved onto the next season and didn’t wait for him? I’m not trying to be rude but seriously wondering

    • @TwoSheepOneWheat
      @TwoSheepOneWheat  2 года назад

      Hey thanks for the comment, it's been awhile since we played but I went and checked the rule book for drawing Meadow cards. Page 10 " If an ability allows players to draw cards from the Meadow cards, draw all cards first then replenish." As for continuing on to the next season while other players are still in current season you are correct and I believe that is how we played. Nic took his sweet time and I ended up watching him play for what felt like the whole game hahah! Hope that helps

      which one? If you mean Barge Toad (one which produces 2 wood times number of Farms in the city) then it was because he closed the door on his Barge building (one door per card) so he can play that Critter for free.

  • @jacobkercher9648
