The Goonies was everything I still think to be the peak of kids adventure movies of the 80s. Sure, there is ET, but it's tense & preachy. Sure, there is The Explorers, & I f*cking love it for all its botched production. Sure, there is IT, but that's another (is it?) story altogether.
The Goonies had Pirates!Gold! And I love it.

Big Stretch but just like "Corey" said he had dreams....I would really like to see a portion of the documentary focus on A SEQUEL to the Goonies.. It can be done people... Trust me... There is a story that can be told!!!

What I am about to tell you, Oliver is actually true. In 2004, I met Sean Astin at Armageddon Expo in Wellington. He told me that when they filmed the scene which Mikey finds One-Eyed Willy's skeleton, Steven Spielberg told him that One-Eyed Willy's skull was made from real bone. 💀☠️🦜🪙🏝
