It was the perfect counterculture f.😉 u.😉 and as a Masta Ace listen’, 4x4 white boy in suburbia, I loved the weird concept. But low profile tires on huge 22’s etc was still quite unknown or even impossible. I remember when 18’s looked monstrous and it wasn’t that long ago. The most advanced TJ era Jeep thing (aside from lifts) was cutting the body by 4 inches and putting crazy small/fat 15s on it. I never saw a true “dubs” style low profile tire with my own eyes until maybe 1999 in Miami. Did see a few Wranglers with strange round 13”-15” bald-looking knubblers. It used to royal the hard-core off road Jeep guys, but I always thought it looked kind of cool. I wanted to do it to my 1990 Wrangler but could never find the hardware and wheel shops in my area (New England) would pretty much tell me what I wanted was impossible to do. Can’t find a trace of that trend on the internet now (or at least not yet). Anyway these re-badged projects like the Chevrolet S10 2 door were amazing. The one in the “Jeep Ass ****” appears to also have been cut up to be a cabrio/convertible. Probably why a few folks thought the white SUV was a 2 door G-Wagon.

Slaughtahouse is my favourite hiphop album of all time. The album is way in front of contemporary hiphop even of today on so many levels. It's so funny that so many people take the lyrics so seriously but almost every single tune on this album is a parody of something else, whether it be the police, gangsta rap, "jeep-ass niggahs" or "Um Dada". Music and production is still raw but cutting edge after more than 15 years, yet this album remains one of the most slept-on albums of hiphop ever.
