Isn’t there a Bible quote about “Men, love your wife like God loves the church”? Uhm… I accidentally wandered into a non-Christian channel, didn’t I? An “I’m spiritual, but not religious” Channel? Singleness can be considered sacred if you have dedicated your life to God, like priests and monks do. Or if you are simply following God’s plan for your life and His ideal marriage partner for you has not yet appeared in your life. In which case, I’d check to be sure I was following God, not my own desires, and illustrating my dedication to God by the way I was living. Not to culture or trends in birth control science… or anything else. Just God’s advice. Because 1 of the fruits of the spirit is patience…
