Chris is honestly one of the best skateboarders that I have ever seen. For context I’m mid 20’s and have been skating since I was about 7 years old. His level of being so casual while doing some of the most technical tricks blows my mind always.
These kinds of videos are the ones I always look forward too and have the most fun watching......you guys going to a random skatepark and doing what you guys do best........you guys should do an east coast tour, basically start your way from Maine and then work your way down the coast doing these kinds of videos
5:25- ‘slightly down/up hill facts’, it is an energy saver for longer sessions and I made it up too, but like 15 years ago. Glad to see it’s still alive! 🙇♂️
Gabe should indeed continue to start conversations in videos, only after consulting with Chris McNugget in regards to the topic, cause he was 100% right about the property value bit. For sure the biggest reason for any price difference in terms of price per square foot of skatepark.
Haha I kind of agree this is my local park so I would give this a little higher rating and I would rate this park a solid 6.5/10 Also thanks for reviewing my local park!
Dudes McNug is right! a horsestance is one of the most powerful stances in martial arts and is one of the best stances to gain more pwer in your legs, but it depends on which martial arts horse stance you do. there are 2 form of style in the chinese martial art culture that have a southern and northern stance, northern stance are lower to the grown where you hold a lower horsestance and a northern style of chinese fighting is 70% legs, and 30% hands kinda like jet li, perfect example. so more kicking in there forms. southern style martial arts is more high up and use more hands then legs. so they use 70% hands and 30% of example wushu is a northern style wing chung is a southern style. there you go guys your learn something new everyday
i like these videos a lot but one thing that isn't taken into account here is the company that built the skate parks because companies tend to build similar parks and contrasting the differences can be really interesting (or just having people try to guess what company made a park might be entertaining)
Price comes down to contractors also. Weather also plays a factor. For example, you cannot compact soil in rainy weather. There are several factors that come into price.
You guys should road trip it to Lauridsen Skatepark in Des Moines, Iowa. It's the largest in the U.S. at a total cost around $7 million ($3.6 million for the skateable terrain alone).
As I grew up skating San Ramon skatepark and Dublin skatepark I used to like San Ramon better but that was back before they put the fence up and got rid of the pyramid and the two long rails going down the bank that was the spot but they remodeled it when city hall moved a hundred yards over and right where the basketball courts were and ruined it 😢
That dude with the funny tooth is quality, he needs more air time. He is hilarious to look at seeing him bust some tricks was just the icing on the cake. Comedy gold right there, get that man the camera he was born for
Just though it would be a cool idea sure there must be some sort of software or game out there... also love you skateboarding made simple it's helping me get back into skateboarding
I remember when me and my cousin stayed at my aunts house who lives near there and we went to that park and it’s where I learned to drop in but then broke my collarbone and later had to get surgery 😭
Does the Braille App have the ability to mark skate spots or skate parks on the map? Would be cool to link locations and allow people to tag their clips at different parks/skate spots.
@@brailleskateboarding i mean yea u cant do that much when it comes to skating its not a vlog channel and people shouldn't expect it to be, its just amazing watching u all have fun and skate and doing what u like and if someone says ur running out of ideas well they should give ideas in comments instead of calling u out on it

To McNugget: about the angle iron being all the way around the ledge boxes, its to keep the angle iron from deforming its shape.
Ah ha, thanks!
20:20 shout out Mullen. Chris You're officially my favorite skater. So sick
Thanks Chris for the Horse stance it helps with lower back pain
I should try it

The price could depend on the bidding for the contractor as well as how much land prep they gotta do to make it build ready.
And anything in the SF area is going to be way more expensive than other states
@@brailleskateboarding you mean the San Francisco Bay Area of course.
@@PooNagoo 😐😑😐

I haven't watched for a few months and Glo's got a different vibe going on, like a gangster Adam Sandler. I quite enjoy it 🔥
And the best comment goes to- 🤣💪🏾
A gangster Adam Sandler. Wow
Adam Sandler definitely needs to play glo in a movie
I would say a cross between Adam Sandler and Chad Muska.
I was literally thinking what Chris said in the beginning 😂 Area where the park is matters💯
Sometimes the land isn't amazing and flat and skatepark ready, so the budget goes mostly to blasting and hardscaping instead of actual concrete work.
Very true
This is my hometown, I grew up practicing at this skatepark, Its so cool to see you guys review it. THANKS!!!
You are welcome
Im over here still waiting on the Braille team street parts! 🙏🔥
I'd love to see Chris do some American ninja warrior or parkour. Man has serious athleticism
Love when these skatepark videos come out!
What is the web site where Mecnugget found his griptape?!
you guys need to skate the lathrop skatepark, yall would have fun.or even kofu skatepark in Lodi, ive learned alot at these parks

Haha I kind of agree this is my local park so I would give this a little higher rating and I would rate this park a solid 6.5/10 Also thanks for reviewing my local park!
Super awesome that you get to have this as your local
I used to go to this park in the past, kinda wish it was bigger, they could have just moved the rocks and dirt in the fences and put something else
Bro I love the energy glo had after his nollie crook that was dope

The Carlos Santana Shirt that GLO is wearing is cool

Ha ha, nice deflection on the facade question Gabe. 😂
Has to be one of ya girl's favorite videos on this channel 💯
the obstacles (specially that single 12:20 rail) seem a bit tooooo tightly packed!
otherwise, an "ok" park it seems!
Yeah not a lot of run up space

It is on the list for sure
for the first time i noticed Mogleys One Piece tattoo and he has officially reached absolute legend status
Hahahahaha
why would they take out the spine that went into the bowl and replace it with that weird roll in thing? I loved that thing.
Your guys videos are hilarious and I wish I could skate you guys make it look easy
You can do it!

Dang
i need to know where mcnugget got that ghastly, haunter, gengar grip tape so bad
He tagged the artist he bought it from on IG
The bowl is definetely the best obstacle of the park :O
Can you guys make video showing how to air out of a ramp. Please and thank you.
One of the best Braille Vids
Horse stance is actually a martial arts fighting position
How
Love these type of videos!
Could have a lot to do with contractors materials cost of land (location) so on and so forth
Thanks for your videos they always inspire me and will continue to inspire me
That 7 stair set was lit lol
I am learning to skate board now so what move/skill is easy for beginners
That curved ledge is amazing, almost a perfect spot
U guys need to come to Thornton Colorado. Team pain just built a brand new skatepark here and it’s insane. Plz plz
Anything Team Pain builds is going to be crazy good
come to bay head skate park in florida
I used to go to wj skate park in Eugene Oregon. I hate people that tag parks.. 😒 something about a big clean park is so nice

It is something we want to add to it eventually. That’s probably 200 hours of research and coding to get that into the app
here in my town, Sarajevo they spent 20 000 for the only skatepark and noone skates in it cause its just so bad
