This 1968 Plymouth Road Runner is a fantastic Driving and looking car. It was owned by the previous owner since 1987 and then restored in the early 90's to duplicate his high school car! This is a real deal roadrunner and defiantly has the look. Its powered by a rebuilt era correct 383 4bb V8 engine and backed up by a 4 speed manual transmission. It comes equipped with factory tachometer, dual exhaust, and is riding on a set of Chrome Magnum 500 rims with RWL tires. Its interior was completely restored back in the 90's and looks like it was done yesterday. It has its factory in dash working tachometer, pearl white bench seat interior with a highly detailed and new dash, and nicely painted tops of doors and window pieces. It also had new door panels, carpet, and rubbers at the time of restoration. Its exterior dark green metallic paint looks beautiful for a driver but if you get right on top of it you will find some minor imperfections. This American Muscle car runs and drives down the road great and is ready for summer fun.

My first car I ever bought was a 1970 383 Roadrunner 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😘I’ll never forget it😢😢😢🤧
1968 Motor Trend Car Of The Year, Wished I could have kept mine, But I went to The Army and Vietnam, But 20 Year's Later I Happened up on one.Thank you Jesus,
My cousin went to Nam, came back and bought one, crashed it and broke his neck.
This brings back a lot of memories with a big smile. My Runner was cherry red with black interior. I get a little scared thinking about some of the street races we had.😳
Some cars are so beautiful, they make you smile when you look at them.
Beautiful car.. my brother had one and I can remember him opening it up on the back country roads.. I miss those days
I just bought a 66 Charger 383. All original paint and interior. Gold and scary fast. She has a Edelbrock 800cfm carb with Flowmaster 2&1half inch dual exaust. Giant aluminum radiator and 727 Torqueflite and 355 Suregrip. And the coolest interior ever made.
I have a 69 RR same color, 440, 4 speed. I love driving it.
I have a 68 Roadrunner 472 Six Pack 4 speed there a fun car to drive
I would rather have ONE of these than two of anything MOPAR makes today. Yes, I have MDS. Mopar Derangement Syndrome.
No you don’t, you’re perfectly healthy and thinking straight.
Real nice....sounds like it has a solid lifter cam...smart to keep the cast manifolds on, they don't leak.
I had a 69' RR 383 in the mid 70s-mid 80s. Currently drive a 17 SS Camaro 6 speed.
Had one just like it except it was an automatic with power steering. Same two door post car, 383, green paint and white interior. Love it
I had the twin to yours in 71-73. Sure wished I would’ve kept it. Like many others, had I known it would one day be worth $40-50K I would’ve found a way to keep it!
Very nice and the perfect color combo and 4sp with a factory tach is where it's at. Would want to have a matching numbers car though.
Best car ever made👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I bought a 1969 road runner back in 1974 for $600 . About 5 years old and it wasent as clean as this one though.
The 'Pentastar' Mopar emblem goes only on the passenger side lower fender. The hole on the lower driver side might be from a rocker moulding fastener.
I miss my 4 speed 383 so very much.
Best thing about this car is the 4-Speed
You could do a factory hood blackout and the two wide stripes should cover the area of some of the bubbles.
Had a lighter green 68 hardtop 383. Nice.
BEEP BEEP I DIG ROADRUNNERS! 68 69 BOTH YEARS!
68 road runner my favorite car of all time
Had one just like this back in 1974. But I also had Factory air conditioning and am-8track.
I owned one just like it. Same color, beautiful car. Didn’t know what I had at the time, just 18 yrs old and dumber then a stump. Lol
Same here . My first car was a 71 Challenger R/T at 18yrs old. Too young and in my case, immature. Then again, that car would have brought the kid out in many of us.
Peace from Philadelphia.
John McAleese the war was going on and I had to leave it behind. My Dad gladly sold it for me while I was in Vietnam. Peace back at you brother from Pittsburgh.
Daniel Purcell , I was 19 when I bought my 68 Charger R/T for $1,100. No Regrets Here Tho,I Still have it 😉🎶😎
@@danielpurcell7395 When did you get out for doing away with him? After all you were trained to......
David Keeton doing away with whom?
Love this car I’ve look at video all day this is my dream car
Awesome color! GG1 green?
This is when Mopar made a GOOD car......cheap, fast and good looking.....Mopar guy for 60 years.....
stars only supposed to be on passenger side that holes for the rocker molding steering wheels from a 69 really nice car me and my dad both have 68 rrs
My '68 Charger has the same steering wheel.
Pentastar emblem was only installed on passenger side (US) so that people walking by on the sidewalk would know that the vehicle was manufactured by Chrysler Corporation; or so I've read somewhere one time... Maybe after it was restored, someone advised the owner of his error in oversight...
Nice except for the bubbles.
I think they only put the star on one fender. Could be wrong.
Love the color
Nice car, but stop saying its a show quality car. It's a fantastic daily driver that's it.
Took less than a minute to notice the front bumper is not straight.
A lot of shows are just badass cars not area show cars I’ve been to plenty of car shows with cars that are not near nice as this .
Great car but the hood gaps are wide enough to drive 50's buick through
Let's see your car... Guess what no one wants to see your Prius or your mom's hand me down Honda. You dip.
@@davidkeeton6716 does your
mom know your are on her pc david?
The good old days
99% similar to the charger but still super car and like it

Thank you Dennis

Mopar emblem always on passenger side not on left side
Makes me all giddy inside
Had one just like that light blue 383 4speed bench seat nice car had to sell it but going to have another one soon
What is the price? And the city you are located in?. Aquila Mayfield SR Asheville N.C 28806.
What did it sell for?
LOVE it 🤩😁
What's the price???
Chrysler star going only on passenger side, not driver side.
My favorite.......
Can you guys please put the price on your cars when you do your videos?? Btw...nice Mopar
$35,000 but sold yesterday
I have a 68 Roadrunner 472 six pack for Speed haven't driven it in 3 years

$35,000 but sold yesterday
@@CoyoteClassics I've seen worse for more fellows !!
Mopar or no car!
shifter should be Inland!
How much is the price? What is the VIN?
It has been sold
passenger door is missing a rubber snubber on bottom inside corner.
How much did you give for it
Trying to find a black bench seat for my 68 RR.... can anyone point me in the right direction
i went to your web site. i didnt see the car.i was curious on price? does it have AC?
No, it doesn't have A/C. You can see in the video of the engine there is no A/C compressor, condenser, drier or lines.
I"m spoiled with 454's and 460's.
What you don't know, won't hurt you
How old is the restoration again?
Restoration was done in the 90’s
Am I’m missing price?
How much?
not on their site must be sold
There saying it’s show quality to charge a higher price
As I pull out my 1:24 Danbury Mint die cast. 😣😕😕
Nice color but no show car.... more like cruise night car. If I had that many bubbles it would be in the body shop right now. I'll keep my 340 Duster that I paid $1,400 for in 1980. #'s match no bubbles.
needs some red line tires
And a set of Cragar S/S
what happens to the car next, now that this guy has got his fingerprints all over the paint?
nice,but a heavyweight.
Love ly. My couller
stop saying um and uh constantly
That car was worth the $35K.
69 steering wheel
I am gonna say it was again, people say what they think to know about cars, they still call it a motor, it is not a motor, it is an engine, not a motor.
Then what does General Motors sell? What about Ford Motor Company? Have you ever heard of MoPar? That's literally the combination of Motor and Parts. I'm so sick of you OCD idiots who can't accept you are wrong. The car has a 383 MOTOR and if you don't like it then please pass on by and keep your dumb comments to yourself.
When trying to catch that Hyundai it's not pronounced HONDAI , there's no O in it. Just remember Hyundai / Sunday.
That's odd. My friend who worked for Hyundai for years corrected me when I said it like Sunday. I got mad at him and he was a good friend because I am a grown up and he's not my mom. Maybe it would just be better to let people pronounce words how they like and not be such a little bitch that you have to try and correct everyone including a total stranger?
383.. 👎
Still haven't found what I'm looking for! Paint not quality, numbers don't match, non matching engine, front bumper looks bent when video first starts, your opinion on show quality. Paint not original color. Other wise EXCELLENT CONDITION😂
