@@TheContinuingStories Yes, the weather certainly adds to the dark subject matter. I am enjoying these vids.Well, enjoy is not the right word, but you know what I mean.
You're also very close (IIRC) to where Sutcliffe had attacked poor Marcella Claxton the previous May. He let her live, but with massive head trauma; she also miscarried her baby. Thank you for going to Irene's grave; it's nice to know that someone cared enough to give her such a lovely stone. I've never seen that photo either.
I know Marcella’s story and even located the phone box where she would’ve made that call and watched Sutcliffe go back to where she was. It was such a hard task to do these videos in the time I had, to potentially do the victims that survived was too much. I hope to do these in years to come, I’ll see how these videos are perceived.
@@TheContinuingStories Oh cheers, sweetie, I wasn't trying to give you the business or anything! I'm just a weirdo in San Diego that is way too obsessed with this topic. ;)
@@stormbourbon8379 oh really? Are you from there? In 2018 I drive 30 American states and although I did California I had to miss out San Diego, it was the last place that got scrapped
@@TheContinuingStories Hells yeah, dude! Or rather, I've been here for 40+ years; it's kinda like L.A., but better! Don't miss it next time; we have a ton of UK expats here that fell in love with the weather and stayed. I lived all over as a kid, including London when I was 10. I remember hearing/reading about the Ripper then, and it's stuck with me my whole life.
@@stormbourbon8379 ohh interesting, I’d love to visit. I went to America in 2018 and 2019 and love it, but since Covid I’m out priced for hotels and can’t afford. I really really miss America. Wasn’t a fan of LA too much but California was amazing.
Soldiers filed is so named as it was a barracks in both wars....hill 60 in roundhay park (cricket ground) is so named after the efforts at hil 60 in ww1.
@@chrishobson6431 yes I think people have forced there to be one since his crimes came to light, like to think I said that. Maybe Saville coincidence is more accurate ;)
What a cold and bleak-looking place, a fitting environment for two of Britain`s most infamous monsters. Another well-researced video.
Thank you Sean and yes picking the height of winter was designed for these videos, doesn’t seem right to film these in the summer
