Great video!!!! Mine came with a 18t pinion 60t spur. I agree with you abt it being another great option for 5th scales. RCMK response time is great. Im definitely liking mine
It is spectacular in design and size. It reminds me of some Dakar prototypes that have that more aerodynamic design without being inspired by anyone in particular. It seems quality, I like it. A comparison with the Losi DBXL and the Kraken Vekta would be brutal
@Gerar79 I don't own a Kraken Vekta but I do own a DBXL. I don't have the room to do it in the studio but I'll try to do something outdoors when the weather is better.
Glad to see you got one of these...and, I'll be greatly looking forward to not input running footage, but also your thoughts of it after ruining several packs through it (from what All Scale RC said, 12S is WAY over-powered...best to Ron on 8S). What I'm most curious about is the center driveshafts, and how the truly hold up, especially considering the angles (most especially considering the front-center driveshaft). Speaking of All Scale RC, it's because of me researching this RC, that I discovered (and subscribed to) his channel. So far, my only 1/5 scale is XMAXX, which I built from an RC chop-shop purchased roller...tho, I should have a second somewhat soon, as I recently ordered the Kraken VESLA.5 C1E SBK kit. Not saying this RC will be my 3rd 1/5 scale...but, then again, it just might.
@ninthislandrc Thanks for checking out the vid. I've been comment to Ramone through the comments, he was stating the center diff may need some thicker fluid, We'll have to see how the geometry effects it over the long haul.
@@ReadySetRC Even though I don't have the vehicle, knowing how most RTR RCs are, I would probably have to agree with the thicker diff fluid in the center diff. I haven't come across a single RTR, or roller, where the center diff didn't need heavier fluid (honestly, the same usually applies to the front & rear diffs...but, not always). For a vehicle this size, 20M will probably do it best, nothing less than 2.5M. Might even consider a 'blend' of...say...1/2 filed with 1M, and half filled with 20M, to create something close to 10M.
Really not into big scale rc stuff, just don't have the space to maintain or to run them properly. But I do appreciate that you try to show some other brands than the usual big players. In asia are a lot of pro lvl manufacturers producing awesome stuff. Did you hear of ycc racing from China? They are the ones who produced alot for Team Associated in the 2010s. And now they bought all the moldings from TA parent Thundertiger and are probably going to bring back all these cool cars. First released is the sc10b which is already available under the name asc10b. Hopefully they bring back the belt driven sc104x4 and the sc8. That would be so awesome.

That is a true 5th scale off road RC, from what I have seen on Allscalerc and your channel this is a pretty hefty machine. It's nice to see how they are not even close to anyone else as far as design and layout. I like how they put the color scheme together, not to flashy but it fits that vehicle just right. @GreatLakesRC Hey Aaron, not at all. These guys have been around for a bit. They use to make engines only. The XCR, I want to say was their first buggy and now they have graced us with this. I heard about RCMK over 8 years ago. The XCR is a great buggy. I would have bought it then but I was not looking for a gasser at the time.
That's a WHOLE LOT of plastic, and Oval RC's channel test-drove this; it was slow and the body broke right away. But yeah, corporate competition is good if it's adequate competition.
@dantrivett8435 That's incorrect. This has been around as long as the DBXL gasser before Losi dropped the electric version. At least that's when I first heard of them. Back then it was the RCMK XCR which is what this is for the most part underneath.
@rchotboy154 Not sure if you mean damn Losi, meaning a clone or DAMN you Losi for not doing this to the DBXL. If it the clone part, it's not. The XCR which is what this is under the shell has been around for a bit. I was aware of the XCR 8+ years ago before the DBXLe was dropped. Maybe the same time when the first DBXL gasser dropped. If its the later, yeah Losi needs to fresh the 5th scale line up. We need something for 2024. Not sure my wallet wants it though😆

Sick looking body for sure. Pro chassis does make it seem comparable to a DBXL-E...the the Losi doesn't have a "Max" option though!
