    Warro, I think you may like to know as a man aged 78 next birthday, I bought a new CB125E from a dealer in Ipswich Qld this arvo for around $3,560 and I did it because of YOUR RUclips video on your daughter's bike. I have a R/E Classic 500 to which I fitted the last Sidecar of the last of HUNDREDS I imported until 2016 when I busted by kneecap on a boating accident on the Gold-coast. I did this as a hobby business and it reawoke my interest in motorbikes after many years. My first bike was a 1950 Matchless 500 single back in 1961 when I was 16, with hindsight this was way too big and if only Honda was around then with their light efficient machines. I love your work mate.

      good to hear you enjoy the channel. you should have a bit of fun on the cb125e. only real issue i found was its a bit vibey in the bars and takes a while to warm from cold start or first cold start.
      after that it good enough to ride anywhere and quick on the start and ready to run anywhere.
      ive actually seen a couple with high klm on them too. one unit had over 100,000 which i thought was pretty unreal for a 125 bike

    Oil did not look as dark as I expected after 1500k. Love your Bullet 500, unfortunately I cannot consider due to lack of disposal capital and being the other side of the world! Great video.

      @ridewithwarro  3 года назад +1

      yeah i was thinking it would be a lot darker due to the fact it really has no oil filter plus the time in the bike with very short run cycles.
      also surprised considering how cheap this bike really is -how well its put together and totally leak free too. not what one would expect from the outright cheapest honda motorcycle on the market
      i'd say your right-better we forget about any thoughts on a sale as the freight costs could prove to be a bit high...lol
      all the best!

    Looks like anyone that can ride a bike , should be able to do minor ( but major ) maintenance - change oil , clean air filter, tighten chain , and check tire air pressure.
    Thanks for the video !

      plus more importantly-save a good $100 too...lol happy to hear you enjoyed it

    Sweet little bike. I'm glad to see that your daughter (all 148cm of her) has persisted with commuting on it.
    With its 14 litre fuel capacity, I would love to go on a long quiet road tour on this machine.
    Sort of like a postie bike tour, but without the fuel range issues, a few more cc's and an extra gear to play with.
    I was enamoured with the little CBR125 (FI) when it came to Au in 2007 for $4000, I think this is even more fun & practical for $2600!

      @ridewithwarro  3 года назад +1

      yeah it was a pretty cheap set of wheels but i think the new 5 speed honda grom for $4500 is really good value too.
      just the other day the daughter pulled up driving a huge cement mixer - and i mean huge -no play toy from the gold mines.
      i actually asked her on the clip was she tall enough to drive it...lol
      i might put the clip up later on

      @@ridewithwarro That'd be awesome. Did you ever get around to posting a full review on the CB125E?

    That seems like an easy enough job. That oil looked pretty clean to me. A lot cleaner than the oil that comes out of my Royal Enfield after 2K miles. I am surprised to see the rubber "noise dampeners" on the Honda. My RE had those on the cylinder fins too. But when I removed them I couldn't tell any difference in noise from the cooling fins ringing. I keep thinking that those rubber strips are there more for looks than for actual noise reduction.

      @ridewithwarro  3 года назад

      i didnt actually take any notice of the noise dampeners when i did the oil change. but i did notice it was a nice clean tight oil free motor on the underbelly side.
      it pretty well good to go for a while now so i think $1.50 well spent

    I wish cheap small city bikes like this existed in the US. Mexico is the closest country that has anything like this.

    Where did you buy those round magnets from?

  • @68404

    Looks like a 13mm drain plug, not 12mm

      @ridewithwarro  Год назад

      this it is and actually its an aftermarket 13mm magnetic sump plug but for those who run a stock bike ...its12mm on the plug.
