The Galloway description is accurate lmaoo 14:49 , I agree with everything except Encre Noir, it's a mysterious smell with orange peel mixed with wet earthy soil to me.

What's the reason that literally all of these cheap dupes need to sit for weeks or months just so the fragrances could smell a little better??? I've never seen this procedure required for high-end designer and niche fragrances. What did they put in these dupes? Did they put really toxic chemicals in it???Surely it can't be healthy for the skin, right???
no….it’s actually a real thing, but I don’t think it’s toxic. I didn’t believe it either until I got Oud for Glory. The first few sprays were horrible. To the point where I didn’t touch it for MONTHS. When I revisited it….wow. I was truly blown away, and the compliments I get are relentless. All fragrances need to mature, but designer fragrance houses can afford to store their fragrances and let them “macerate” before release, PLUS they’re typically using quality ingredients, so it doesn’t take as long. Dupe houses don’t have the privilege to macerate theirs before releasing, hence the difference in prices.
You’re releasing all those Chinese solvents. Hopefully you guys aren’t wearing that cheap crap around pregnant women 😂. Always gotta support the real thing if you actually care about fragrances.
This reminds of everyone’s love of MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver and PDM Layton. Layton is straight up Vicks Vapor Rub to my nose 😭 MFK GFS is..I don’t know what it is about that fragrance. I think it’s the juniper that is an instant turn off. I don’t under the “refreshing” aspect of it that everyone claims 😭😭😭
A huge relief always come when quality reviewers like you are not impressed by Terre D'hermes. My Girlfriend has a very classy taste and firm opinions (venus in taurus) and she can't stand TDH. Some of her favourites are YSL Tuxedo, Xerjoff Naxos and Givenchy Gentleman Boisee.
In the last 8ish years I regret buying 90% of fragrances based on reviewers/influencers recommendations. I will never ever blind buy nor listen to any reviewers ever again. Not saying it's their fault ultimately it's mine but this the biggest waste of money hobby that's ever existed in my opinion.
Surprised that there is no Club Nuit Intense Man. It’s honestly one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever smelled. The only people that like it appear to be online, so I’m guessing it’s some sort of TikTok marketing.
