I love the Japanese royal family attention to details, traditions, and motifs. In particular, the matching of the tiaras with their necklaces which creates a reverse view of the tiara. Amazing designs and craftsmanship.
Would love to see more tiaras from the noble ladies of Japan. It will showcase the creativity of Japan's jewelry makers since it seems that the only materials allowed are diamonds, pearls, gold and platinum.
Empress Michiko is a beautiful woman!!! Especially in her youth she was amazing beautiful!!!! The tiaras was all gorgeous, much more stunning from the British ones. This is a real ROYAL Family!!!! Speechless. 🌻🌻
Thank you for showing our Imperial family's jewels. I didn't know about the Chrysanthemum Tiara. The chrysanthemum emblem inspires awe in the Japanese people.
I love pearls more than diamonds and I love the miss universe crown,I born in June and pearls is what I Wear love their traditional meaning of pearls. 🇨🇦🙏🏼
I love looking at the world’s finest jewelry, plus as a geologist, I really love gemstones. Of course, even if the rest of us could afford such things, where could we possibly wear them? It’s fun to look, though, and admire the beautiful gemstones and finest jeweler’s craftsmanship.
It is a good video but most of the names are not pronounced correctly and it is an imperial family and not a royal one as written in some comments. But otherwise the concept of the video is very good.
I read before that the late queen elizabeth admitted that the gemstone studded crown is unbearable to wear especially in her old age. The simple designs of these japanese tiara is wearable even on old age. Japanese jewels reflect the zen practice & not overpowering the wearer.
not stolen, they were aquired through the right of conquest. not saying being a war aggressor and colonialist power is a good thing but it is what it is, history will not be changed.
Very interesting, and the jewels are beautiful. The video would have been better if you had first learned the correct pronunciation of the Imperial Family member's names.
Lovely presentation but what of Empress Masako's daughter? Does she, as the Emperor's daughter not have any? which I cannot believe. You covered the daughters of the Emperor's brother but not his own daughter?
Japan started wearing western style clothing and uniforms after Meiji restoration specially the royal court and events, the deplomats, army uniforms , official events, high society people etc . Before the restoration the Japanese emperor used to wear the traditional Japanese dress along with a traditional circular black cap and royal consorts used to have various hairstyles with a lot of designer hairpins, floral designs made of precious stones and beautiful kimonos.
Lovely jewellery...their designs are exquisite without the use of single big stones .. Their use of pearls is my favourite since i love 😁😍them the most .. But i love coloured stones..so an all white collection is a but boring
I've never heard of the House of Yamato. What does it mean? Mostly the only one family has been reigning the House in Japan, and also they are not called Yamatos?
You use crown, tiara and diadem as synonyms, but they’re not. These are all different-style precious-metal, usually jeweled head ornaments, that’s the only similarity, and diadems don’t always have jewels, either, they began as simple, usually embroidered, usually white ribbons worn around the head to indicate royal status. Some of what you call crowns are actually coronets, again, other type of usually jeweled head ornament. You should do enough research get the terminology right before you make videos and stop using a thesaurus.
Nice story but could the speaker learn to pronounce the names of the imperial family members correctly before recording the text? Sounds awful to people who knows the correct pronounciation.
This video really covers none of the traditional stuff 😂 Wouldn't be surprised if the Japanese royals have a stash of armour nade of pure gold or entite helmets made out of massive jade pieces, too bad most people these days only think gold diamond and pearl.
Now 50 50 percent shares ownership of japan IT parks and IT cities now for crown Prince of japan and japan cold storages and ice mils and godoms group of corporation for u crown Prince of japan. Now 〽️ 💐
I love the Japanese royal family attention to details, traditions, and motifs. In particular, the matching of the tiaras with their necklaces which creates a reverse view of the tiara. Amazing designs and craftsmanship.
I totally agree!
can you do a story on what miss universe is? is it a drag show?
Exquisite pieces and using only white gems creates a sophisticated look. Would live to see more.
Would love to see more tiaras from the noble ladies of Japan. It will showcase the creativity of Japan's jewelry makers since it seems that the only materials allowed are diamonds, pearls, gold and platinum.
Stunning tiaras beautifully designed some many moons ago thank you for showing them.
You are so welcome! Thank you so much for your kind words !
The most beautiful tiaras I've ever seen, from any country. Very much my favorite.
From the USA. What beautifully made tiaras. Absolutely stunning. They are works of art.

Empress Michiko is a beautiful woman!!! Especially in her youth she was amazing beautiful!!!! The tiaras was all gorgeous, much more stunning from the British ones. This is a real ROYAL Family!!!! Speechless. 🌻🌻
She had a perfectly shaped heart shape face which was the basis for her stunning beauty.
Thank you for showing our Imperial family's jewels. I didn't know about the Chrysanthemum Tiara. The chrysanthemum emblem inspires awe in the Japanese people.
A wonderful video....Mikimoto pearls are highly prized
I love pearls more than diamonds and I love the miss universe crown,I born in June and pearls is what I Wear love their traditional meaning of pearls. 🇨🇦🙏🏼
Lovely collection. Would love to see more. Thank you!

Yes! Will be soon !
Its bautyful tiara
There were many hysterical mistakes in the subtitles, but the funniest had to be "Mickey Moto" pearls!
JAPAN has an imperial family!
Nice.
Thanks!
The only royals who bow to people.
Honorable
It is a good video but most of the names are not pronounced correctly and it is an imperial family and not a royal one as written in some comments. But otherwise the concept of the video is very good.
Mikimoto crown is way better than official diadem from royals itself
Less use please of the word adorable. A puppy is adorable not jewellery.
Yes
Even better and not gaudy 😊
I read before that the late queen elizabeth admitted that the gemstone studded crown is unbearable to wear especially in her old age. The simple designs of these japanese tiara is wearable even on old age. Japanese jewels reflect the zen practice & not overpowering the wearer.
A crown is suppose to be heavy, it represents the heavy weight the monarch endures on behalf of their people. A Tiara is just a glittered bauble.
The jewelry is beautiful but no collections compares with those of the British royal family, many of which were stolen from their colonies, of course.
True and they should give them back
A lie repeated does not become true.
Oh there’s always one and todays it’s your turn apparently. Can’t you just enjoy a short video without resorting to vitriol? Rhetorical question
No they shouldn't go back @bourjoism3917
not stolen, they were aquired through the right of conquest. not saying being a war aggressor and colonialist power is a good thing but it is what it is, history will not be changed.

Id like to know which piece was each womans favorite and why
What royal head-dress did they wear before they adopted all these western dressing?
Japan started wearing western style clothing and uniforms after Meiji restoration specially the royal court and events, the deplomats, army uniforms , official events, high society people etc . Before the restoration the Japanese emperor used to wear the traditional Japanese dress along with a traditional circular black cap and royal consorts used to have various hairstyles with a lot of designer hairpins, floral designs made of precious stones and beautiful kimonos.
Parure is the correct spelling, not perure.
Nor parua!
princess pachinko from the royal doraemon palace has stunning tiaras
Lovely jewellery...their designs are exquisite without the use of single big stones ..
Their use of pearls is my favourite since i love 😁😍them the most ..
But i love coloured stones..so an all white collection is a but boring
I do think that the Orange Nassau Jewelry is more impressive
I've never heard of the House of Yamato. What does it mean? Mostly the only one family has been reigning the House in Japan, and also they are not called Yamatos?
I don't think that the Japanese royal ladies actually own the ice in the same way that we would own items.
Crown PRINCE Fumihito, not 'princess'

Why their tiaras have no other stones; rubies, emeralds, sapphires, aquamarines?
Nice story but could the speaker learn to pronounce the names of the imperial family members correctly before recording the text? Sounds awful to people who knows the correct pronounciation.
