I built my first studio in 1978, and have built or reworked so many that I can't recall......So many tricks and solutions under my belt.......Great upload.......ane cool trick I learned from Bruce Fairbairn's world famous 'Armoury Studios' build in Vancouver (KISS, Yes, Seal, Metallica, Aerosmith.......) - floating your whole floor on hockey pucks. In Vancouver, he needed to 'float the floor', to isolate it from the sound of large trucks, trains nearby, etc........................Very useful video - good for you

Hockey Pucks! Somewhere in the back of my skull I remember hearing that years ago! Incredible. I wonder if anyone ever experimented with maple syrup as an alternative to green glue! Thank you so much for sharing your experience!

Great vid as always, I soundproofed my small garden studio with rockwool, chipboard then plasterboard and then plaster and it’s pretty quiet from outside
