This is exactly what I needed to find. The wires inside my tank completely came off with all the rust and corrosion and didn't know what I could do. The car has been sitting there for a couple years now and I'm trying to get it started again
I can't believe how similar your bench and pegboard wall look to mine. Right down to the Milwaukee battery being held together by a zip tie! Nice job on the sending unit!
How about refurbing the level unit as it looks to be able to be broken down with careful manipulating of the cage tabs. My spring needs some help as it doesn't really work and my solders might have turned cold.
that tube looking thing at the bottom of the fuel pump (connnected to the a wire) what did you replace it with and how did you replace the resistor on it mine is shot
Such a soothing video. I watch this every night before bed.
Should I add rain sounds to the next video

Lmaoo no way that’s awesome😂😂 Milwaukee should include zip ties in the battery pack box right lol
Wow great job, I thought there would be no chance of bringing that thing back to life.
Nick doing work as always!
🙏
What type of wire did you use for it whats a good submersible wire?
Good video.. I need to do mines . So glad I saw this video. Super helpful.
Glad I could help
How has the epoxy coating held up? Did you only use the klean strip to prep the surface?
Good video. Can you send me a list of bolt size, nylon washers/metal washers (how many) I tried to turn subtles on. Didn’t work.
Bro u killed it with this one... Awesome video
Finally a channel!
Had to do it
This video actually helped me
😩the man himself I’ve missed you
Super helpful video thank you!! Would this chemical work for cleaning a rusty tank as well?
thanks for watching and Yes it will just depends how deep the rust is or if it’s just starting to scale .
Always wondered how to fix a rusty unit
Got you brotha 👊
Sick you should do one on cleaning a s13 fuel tank!
That I can do! I have a few rusty tanks. chemical removers are perfect for cleaning off parts that can’t be blasted with media efficiently
That would be amazing!
Whats that clear washer looking thing youre using on both sides on the top hat?
Nylon washer to insulate the power wires
Great video!!
More to come !!
that top black wire on the hat not connect to anything on the inside?
Nice work! as per usual. What’s the final word on the caswell product? 👍🏻 or 👎🏻
Haven’t been able to test it long term but it seems pretty good so far

what??
What size bolts did you use? And what is that one black wire that hooks up to the small aluminum piece? Looks like a battery almost
M6 bolts and nylon washers on both sides . Which wire?
@@Nscardigno33 do you have an IG I can dm you on? And why 14 gauge? Aren’t some of the wires smaller than 14?
Did you have to calibrate anything and if so what were the top and bottom ohms?
No calibration needed all sock sending unit
Cool video , do I need to add the epoxy to it
You don’t have to but it helps
@@Nscardigno33 thanks u
👌🏽👌🏽
🤜🤛
Fuck. Yes.
😊
Ty sir *subbed*
What size wires did you use?
14g wire .. heat shrink on bolts and nylon washers both sides
Why nylon washers? I have 12 gauge wires, any caveat or am I good to use them?
The picture angle could be better to see what your doing.
Yea this was the very first yt video I ever made still learning but thanks for the input I always take notes
💘
I just purchased a 79 zx base model. Not many videos out there. Just received repair manual on it.
