    This is exactly what I needed to find. The wires inside my tank completely came off with all the rust and corrosion and didn't know what I could do. The car has been sitting there for a couple years now and I'm trying to get it started again

    I can't believe how similar your bench and pegboard wall look to mine. Right down to the Milwaukee battery being held together by a zip tie! Nice job on the sending unit!

    How has the epoxy coating held up? Did you only use the klean strip to prep the surface?

    Good video. Can you send me a list of bolt size, nylon washers/metal washers (how many) I tried to turn subtles on. Didn’t work.

      That I can do! I have a few rusty tanks. chemical removers are perfect for cleaning off parts that can’t be blasted with media efficiently

    How about refurbing the level unit as it looks to be able to be broken down with careful manipulating of the cage tabs. My spring needs some help as it doesn't really work and my solders might have turned cold.

    that tube looking thing at the bottom of the fuel pump (connnected to the a wire) what did you replace it with and how did you replace the resistor on it mine is shot

    What size bolts did you use? And what is that one black wire that hooks up to the small aluminum piece? Looks like a battery almost

      14g wire .. heat shrink on bolts and nylon washers both sides

      I just purchased a 79 zx base model. Not many videos out there. Just received repair manual on it.
