    Potentially the most premium and expensive Korean lever on the market. Is it worth its high price tag? Spoiler alert, its not for most, but I really like it regardless
    Follow Hax because without him, I would not have been able to install the lever myself

    For those wondering about the slight squeaking when I was using the lever, it had only started making that noise while I was making the review so I contacted ASI via twitter and it turns out it was residue from the machining of the silver bushing as well as lack of lubrication on the actuator. They guided me on how to clean/lubricate it and now there's no more squeaking, so I have to commend them on their customer service. I highly recommend cleaning the parts and a applying lubrication before use to avoid a similar issue if you do buy one

      ASI has some of the best customer service with regards to arcade sticks that I have ever experienced. They were willing to go out of their way to make my order exactly how I wanted it. Quite the difference when compared to my Razer Panthera Evo and Qanba Obsidian, both of which had faulty parts out of the box and I had to jump through some serious hoops to get a replacement(Qanba helped me trouble shoot the issues since I am a PC player, but Razer refused to replace my stick since I had reported significant issues with their keyboards and mice throughout my 4 years of trying to use their stuff, it kind of seemed like they blew me off).

    The discoloration on the brass is called patina it's easily removed with brasso or any liquid metal polish and you can clear coat it if it is affecting your play.

    • @LodanZark
      @LodanZark 4 года назад

      @@TheRomi18 Mishimas levers are usually the ones that has long throw and hard to hit diagonals (because it's easier to do the Electric Wind God Punch), probably taeyoung low colar version or 303MJ Crazy Dongpal would be a good option, if you don't mind spend a bit more you can go to the fujin v3 (the low colar mod it's hard to find, so might require drilling) or golden lever....

    • @LodanZark
      @LodanZark 4 года назад +2

      @@TheRomi18 ist 49s it's way better than 47 because it uses omron switches, it's one of best Korean levers, it's very balanced and it's easier to hit diagonals, it's good for players that plays different games and different characters, you can play with it for Mishima and doing well, but the build is not target for Mishimas because it's too balanced, if you wanna more Mishimas oriented lever you have to pick some with longer throw and harder diagonals, about sanwa jlf mods you can do, probably add a stronger spring to return neutrals quickly, and probably add a bat top, but personally I would save the money to get a Korean lever if tekken it's your thing

    Hey dude funny enough I play an aluminum bat top sanwa with a 4 lbs tension spring I was wondering what grommet feels the most similar on a korean stick?

    • @kosh12319
      @kosh12319 3 года назад

      I have played on a 4lb spring and several grommets for k levers if I'm honest I don't think there is a grommet that feels even similar I found the 4lb spring incredibly tiring on my hand after a couple hours play. The grommets are not as stiff as the spring at least not all the way to full actuation as the grommets get progressively harder the farther you push. If that makes sense.

    • @vangoghsseveredear
      @vangoghsseveredear 3 года назад

      Korean levers dont and cant have any gates installed. There are no gates, its restricted to the end by rubber grommets which also provide tension as they dont use springs either. Its a completely different design philosophy to a Japanese/American style lever
