Todd Asks Me To Give Glamour Affection

- I had come upstairs to do some work and Todd asked me to give Glamour some Belly Rubs. I explained that Glamour doesn't like belly rubs but I would offer her pets. Then Todd asks for a brushing for himself and Glamour comes and joins in.
Todd is a 7-year-old neutered male cat at the time of this video. Todd and his dad have been learning to communicate with each other since May of 2022 with the help of recordable buttons. We aim to let Todd express himself and tell me his wants and needs. Currently, Todd has 59 words on his soundboard. This channel is dedicated to Todd learning to “talk”. Todd getting Glamur vet help has realy done her good she seems way more talketive and wanting affection and looks way happyer,as for Paulie we all know mum gives him loves and pets so it seems he is happy haveing a moment to himself getting a nap in the comfy chair😊
I still always try to acknowledge them and talk to or pet them when they come up if I see them.
It would not surprise me in the least that Todd can sense that Glamour has had things a bit rough, and may not be feeling her best yet. So he asked that you give her some of the best medicine- Affection! What a gallant gentlekitty Todd Is! :)
Definitely. Kitties can be VERY sensative to things like that so Todd probably IS trying to help Glamour feel better!
When animals with talk technology use it to advocate for their non-verbal peers it really takes the communication to another level - community thought and care for their peers and tool usage really is remarkable.
Todd is, like, the assistant manager. He tells the boss what needs to be accomplished and so they work on the job together. Maybe Todd is also H.R.!

Todd relaxing in pampered luxury 😻🐾💖 Asking for belly rubs for Glamour gets my nervous nana attention. My son's late rescue hated belly rubs until his kidneys began to fail. I took it as a sign he was more trusting when he exposed his belly for gentle rubs. And Todd is the floor nurse who records all their physical needs. I know Glamour is in constant veterinary care now, but I would keep an eye on her creatine blood levels.
All was just checked, and for her age she is right where she should be. Thabk you.

I have seen firsthand how cats are concerned for and care about other cats. I have two friendly indoor-outdoor ferals. When they got really sick with a URI and were wheezing a lot, Mama Domino, their cat mom, gave me this look. It was a look that said it all without words. I knew that she was asking, even demanding, that I help them. She knew that humans could make them better.
"Human! DO something! Help them!"
Thankfully, antibiotics cured them, but it was terrifying to see them so sick. I can only imagine what Mama Domino was feeling and thinking, not to mention the two themselves.

Watching Todd work out what he wants to say, you can almost see him thinking. He looks around as if he is trying to work out which words go together to say what he wants. He is getting so good at making sentences and finding new ways to get Dad to do things. I'm waiting for his next Toy invention. Maybe he will invent something special for Glamour. 😻

Same more cats and 2 dogs. I love all of them, but when you get affection and vocal requests from the kitties it does melt my heart. The puppers are happy with anything, cats however need their specific needs met then once you have earned their trust and love their so much more vocal about how they feel towards you! I don't think anything beats the sound of purring ❤

What a sweetheart. Although part of me wonders if he wasn't wanting to see what Glamour would do if you rubbed her belly. He seems like he'd be above that, but I know some very sweet cats that still have a bit of troll in them. xD Glamour and her enthusiastic meows! My calico sounds a lot like her, just tons to say. I don't think I've heard Todd meow yet and I wonder if he just doesn't feel the need to since he can speak Button.
