Great plugin I am still did not try it but I will try it. I crave good solution for java in nvim. But still Intellij has some good feature even in community version like class hierarchy, structure tool for navigation... still I will give this a try. I crave for nvim solution for java so I can work just for terminal.
Unfortunately there probably never will be intellij like features. IMO java developers should take the responsibility and create/develop a language server. Java JDTLS is the hardest language server I ever setup. No documentation. It just sucks.
@@s1n7ax I admire your skill and patience. I stumble upon your plugin few months ago but never tried because I dont have experience in pure nvim. I only used ideavim for Intellij and vs code nvim plugin. In your opinion what are pros of writing java in nvim rather then traditional IDE like Intellij with vim plugin. I am going to give nivim chance, but I am afraid I will get bitten by Plugin fever and start writing my own plugins.😂
I no longer work with Java but I used Java for many years. Starting from eclipse and vs code with plugins. For me it's because I can't have all my Neovim keymaps with other IDEs. I'm using colemak-dh as my layout and i have re-mapped most keys to have the same position as qwerty. I can't have that anywhere else. I have more advanced snippets with luasnip and it only works in Neovim. I have a self documenting method snippet for example. Additionally, i have a habit of using treesitter node for selecting and jumping which was not available in any of the IDEs. But in the last company, i had Intelij running alongside Neovim for running other micro services i need because there was no way to run multiple micro services i want without navigating to each and every project and running gradle bootRun.
brother don' t think of neovim as an alternative to IntelliJ, it is not and it will never be, I personally use Neovim to just write Java code just so I improve Vim/Neovim knowledge, when it comes to serious stuff I switched back to IntelliJ.
Hello, I was looking at your video channel. We may be helping a company that uses secure images to increase supply chain security and help cloud native development. Would you be willing to help try their software, make a video, and help show devs how to use their tools? This is not an offer, but just to start a conversation about your willingness to take on sponsorship. Please provide me with your email if you are interested. You'd have a chance to look at their technology and decide if it's the type of software that you'd be interested in covering in your channel.
Rooting for you dude. Great plugin and great work 🙌
How do you actually make this work with custom config? Every time I tried to use this plugin I get conflicts from my own lspconfigs and this
That depends how you configure. Can you push your latest config to github and create a discussion in github regrading setting up with the link.
@@s1n7ax I'm using LunarVim's launch.nvim configs. Those are independent from lunarvim. I will make a discussion. Thanks for the help

If you are not used to using Neovim then there is no point, just use intelij with a vim plugin. You are not missing much.

unfortunately lombok is not working for me T.T
It's fixed now. Unless there is a configuration issue, it works.
making nvim as Intellij Ultimate
Even if i implemented all the features in jdtls, it would still be behind intelij. It sucks but that's the reality
Lombok was a mistake
