can I get service to this device wirelessly? like can I use it as a standalone MIFI device if I have no other internet access?
Can you put a sim to it to have internet?
Hi, to use the mass storage device feature does the AC750 needs to be connected to another network or can it work by itself? like transferring files from a drive connected to the usb port of the AC750 and the PC connnected via Wi-Fi. A completely isolated network, no internet.
The access point will work completely by itself. No internet required. Connect two PC's (or more) wirelessly and share data on the drive connected to the access point.
Bro ive been looking for a Replacement for RAVPOWER FILEHUB here in the Philippines but unluckily i cannot find one until this video came. my main purpose of the gadget is to File Share my External Hardrive Offline. can i do it here ? what is the maximum TB would be posible to plug in this Router ? thank you if you will reply ... God Bless
Yes, you can share files from an external usb drive using the built in wireless. The largest drive I had plugged in was a 500gb portable drive.
Can this router power supply be switched to battery bank ? What capacity should be used, and what cables are required ?
Yes. Capacity - the bigger the better! Usb to micro usb cable.
I'm trying to login from the net to my usb and not having luck...
I could be wrong but I don't think it is designed to allow remote access in. Its purpose was to allow multiple devices to share access outbound.
You'd probably be able to use ssh via PuTTY or equivalent. Or ftp
Usb speed ?
1× USB 2.0 Port
can I plug in a camera to the usb?
Hmm, interesting, what kind of camera were you thinking?
@@j14agt a 5mp aliexpress usb camera for my laser cutter using lightburn. :-) Works like any usb camera, can plug it into Windows camera and it works.
Unfortunately I don't have anything similar to test. I'm not sure how you would address the camera remotely. Have you considered a Blink camera from Amazon? I use one to keep an eye on my 3d printer.
@@techtriedandtested Thanks will look into it.
No need to. Use a wifi camera and connect it to this router. Then access it over the internet or via your local wifi by pointing your browser to the camera's ip address & port.
