Total blues ambience and groove found. I appreciate the subtleties in there in execution, ringing a note, muting a note, plucking soft, plucking hard, with such detail, crossing between the sounds and tones so passionately, and so accurately...okay, that's enough, you don't need any more ;) JAW
Dear Adam, I should think that greats like Bill Withers and Stevie Wonder would be extremely touched by your brilliant arrangements of their work. You are clearly showing great love for other composers by taking the time, energy & hard work to play their tunes in such an impressive way.
Thanks! The sound on this video and "Little Fingers" was an experiment - the ZOOM H4 built in mics. You'll hear the other vids sound better with real condensers! Thank you.
THanks. This one & little fingers were a new experiment in the sound & recording technique. Basically I used a zoom H4 but the mics were not meaty enough...check out the new America vid and you'll hear better sound. Yes the verb HF is a bit high. Thanks for commenting and listening!!!!
Yeah!! This is the best youtube version!! The other guys never has so much groove and feeling like Adam! You can hearing the love at the music! MarioOo
Hooooooooooly coooooow!!! This has got to be the funkiest soulfullest version of the song, that I've ever heard!!! AND ON AN ACOUSTIC NO LESS!!! Simply amazing!!! Dm
il n'y a pas de commentaire a faire cela s'ecoute tout simplement et on se laisse porter part la melodie et vous entendrer le charme d'un musicien avec son intrument je ne peu rien dire d' autre que le mot magnifique
loved it especially the shout out to windy and warm. I did however think it could have kept it's delicateness and had the volume on the full project boosted a bit.
Found you for the first time tonight............................WOW! Seriously, I think the superstition cover is one of the best things, I have ever seen on the web................Bloody effortless! Keep them coming. I think your passion comes through on these more than many other talented artists - that's the difference. AJ.
Mike thanks! Actually I don't dig the sound on this one as much as the new ones- "I Want you Back" and "I Can't make you love me". You'll be able to hear the cole clark tone better on those. If you play it next to another spruce top, it may not sound as loud - but they do sound pretty good. The gem is the electronics - best I have heard plugged in. Get the cutaway bro!!!
Hi Adam! I'm really blown away. Firstly about the rhythm and timbre of your music, secondly about your new guitar. I also owned a TAYLOR 314 and know about it's quality, but this COLE CLARK seems to be way above in musical projection and also fits your needs perfectly. The guitar would be worth being played totally unplugged by you - no reverb, no equalization - perhaps you could do one of the greatest love songs of all time, MAYBE I'M AMAZED by PAUL McCARTNEY. Regards from Austria Eddie
Wow Adam, stumbled upon this. Recording quality aside, I like this honestly a bit more than your ‘recent’ version in SWA. Then again, it just shows how great this song is for impro. You’re the master of groove in fingerstyle, I’ll tell you that. Adam 13 years ago also had it 🤠
Eddie! Hey man - FYI this is unplugged. I mixed in garage band a bit....check out the new vid "I want you back"...better mic, richer sound...all acoustic!!!! Be well...
As inspiring as ever, Adam. Great to see this played live after hearing it on my MP3 player for the last few weeks. When are you coming over to England then? Cheers, Neil
I heard your version of Superstition on Sirius Satalite's Coffee House channel and deciced to see if you had any stuff on RUclips. You are an amazing guitarist. Keep the good videos coming. I am sure to subscribe.
Adam this is spectacular! You've got so much feel man. I'm loving the Cole Clark. Actually I'm considering making it my first solid wood guitar. Looking at the Cole Clark FL1A or FL1AC. But anyways I just wanted to let you know that this is my favourite rendition by you. You're extraordinarily talented. Good work. Mike
I was introduced to you yesterday when you played Kulttuuritalo here in Finland, it was a great show, loved the beatbox Chameleon. Oh and your videos are amazing :)
First of all, every single you've posted on youtube is nothing short of first class!! Regarding this video, well, the audio actually, don't know if that reverb is naturally coming from the room you are in(i doubt it slightly), and neither do i know if the effect is intentional, but maybe a roll of the verb HF would have given this a bit more presence and clarity! Otherwise as i said, first class to the very last note! All the best.
Oh man those other videos are wicked! Have you ever considered doing maybe an Al Di Meola interpretation? Maybe of Egyptian Danza? I saw you've already done a Chic Corea song, so it would be awesome if you did some of Al's songs! Take Care! Mike

This guy is sick!!! He can play lead, rythm, beatbox and drums all at the same time!!!!Amazing...he makes it look so easy!
Eyes closed and with one heel tapping the floor lightly to the beat ... neck atilt ... getting in the groove here ... phew.
Beautiful interpretation!

Fantastic!!!
