Kenan needs to get enough subs and patreon donors to have enough money to build a structure that can withstand a CAT 4 / and above the ground. The warm waters off of Florida is getting warmer and the strong hurricanes won't stop anytime soon.

Slinky was probably being a little jerk cause he can feel the hurricane coming. Probably wasn't feeling too comfortable.
Yes reptiles and other animals and fish can feel the weather pressures and can make them anxious and hyped up .
As he stated that’s his personality . I don’t discount that animals can sense bad weather but he knew what would happen because he’s familiar with the personality of his lizard.
He said it was his personality but I don't doubt slinky is anxious about the storm cause he can probably feel it

Barometric pressure from the storm coming causes the animals to act all wacky, but once it's back to normal so do the animals. 😊😉

1605tanya yep it’s a cat 5 with sustained 180mph winds and gusting at 220+mph. If there’s a direct hit everything is done for. I’m in the direct path for it if it doesn’t turn north.

@@thatxonexguy5438 after living thru hurricane Andrew I take Hurricanes seriously.I worked in South Dade at the time and it looked like an atomic bomb had gone off. I am glad Kenan is being responsible.

NitroNarc I did and my family, but lost my house and some close friends died. The island is in a state of devastation.
CAT 5 tornado wiped out Joplin. I am sure that was rare event. I live just 70miles from there. But still i think tornados are better than hurricanes.

This is legit my worst fear with all my many small exotic pets :( i am always so stressed out an terrified of what I'd do if a natural disaster hit, and was told i must evacuate. Idk how I'd ever fit them all in my car or keep them calm. For fact i am gonna make sure when i get my own place to have bunker for them and all of us for storma an stuff like this.
Me too. I had to evacuate with 15 exotic animals during Hurricane Florence and I snuck them into a hotel. We rode out Dorian.

You are a great lizard wrangler...lol you should name the crazy lizard with scars on his nose and mouth, Scarface I think it fit's his personality perfectly.
For the turtles and tortoises the bunkers should be slightly elevated but have them tongue in to the legs, have a form of flotation device (styrofoam, boat bumpers, etc.) so if it floods they will be inside of their bunker and it will float but not float away. Hope my idea helps 👍😁 (PS, they male crazy lizard should be named Crazy Ivan, that’s when a submarine turns sharp to the right or left and turn off all power to check for a following submarine)

I’ve read a bit about how barometric pressure changes can have different effects on animal behaviors. It’s interesting to learn about these things so we know what to possibly expect from our pets in mild to severe weather storms and what we can do to keep them safe and desensitize them if needed so their stress levels, etc. aren’t causing them to get to worked up which could lead to possibly injuring themselves/others in with them, escape, etc... I hope it doesn’t get to crazy down there, fingers crossed that all blows over quickly and with little to no damages occurring!

As someone from the Netherlands, being hit by a major storm like that is simply beyond comprehension. However, what we do have to worry about is the fact that I live 15 feet below sea level. In the future I hope to get myself a 'grab-n-go-bag' and start working on some protocol to get to safety quickly, with my animals of course. Kenan, I am greatly impressed by your level of planning and creativity when it comes to securing these animals and your loved ones. I know it might seem beyond possible to get everything done in time, but always remember: when it comes to man vs wild, we have one advantage, and thats our brain. I dont know you on a personal level, but it is clear you are someone with a rightious heart and a good mind. I wish you all the best for this hell of a week coming up.

Well you may want to have a small monolithic dome built at some point to put the animals in. They are cheap to build and can handle a cat 5 hurricane and a cat 5 tornado.
