The item was stretching across that washplate during the first spin… my grandma had a older kenmore version of that washer and one time, she was washing sheets and that happened with the sheets stretching over the washplate and because of that, the spinning force caused the sheets to tear… that’s why my grandma hates washplates with a massive ass passion

Delicate cycle uses a low spin speed according to Whirlpool.

Also it used a little bit too much water for a small load. It seems like the basic Whirlpools do that where it fills too much for a small load.
