Thank you for these series of videos. I got this washer and had no idea what to expect. Having this helped me to feel secure that what I was hearing was normal.
Revisiting this video. Man, that old style (taller) washplate design moves clothes way more than the crappy flat ones they use in other machines. Glad to see that design coming back; it's one of the reasons the F&P based cabrios were as good as they were. Now, if they put that design in their direct drive models (the wtw7000/7300/7500/8040/8500s) they'd have a decent HE machine on their hands.
Great post . Not a bad machine. There is no real rollover but from the rubbing and the amount of water they are somewhat agitated. Think if the vanes on the wash plate were a little thicker and if they made a deeper space between them it would have a better rollover. In my opinion when it comes to the new HE pole/agitators washers GE washers are the best and the closest thing you will get to the "Old School " washers that use enough water as well as capacity.. Most of the other washers do best washing small loads like this so it defeats the HE when you have to wash multiple loads or smaller loads to ensure that your clothes are being washed thoroughly.
Yep.....jus wanted to know how you take of the agitation to clean the inside( full_cleaning service ) i got my washer machine long time its 8 years now...but i never cleaning up the inside 🤦♂️ buy thanks for the video's you share...bless bless
At least it used stronger agitation than bulky/sheets cycle. Amazing in that rinse, the water completely missed the tee shirts that were pressed against the tub. They were never hit with rinse water. How is this acceptable?
Totally unacceptable. They can't have enough brains to design a spray flume to actually touch the clothes? Look at lg's "smartjet" rinse system on their top loaders way superior. And whirlpool wonders why people buy samsung and lg, because whirlpool produces a subpar product.

The only issue I have with this washer is that I like to fill up with water and add the soap. Once the water is at the level I need then I add the clothes. I can’t do that with this machine. I don’t like adding clothes and then having to dump the soap on top of the clothes. How can I fix this?

Plus, I get the feeling that the impellers are rubbing against the clothes and will wear them out sooner.

Spray rinse is better for quick wash as the ones that don’t spray rinse are like 50 minutes which is just ridiculous for a quick wash.

It sounds like the other maytag washer because of the humming..

You said no soap but you must h e had left over soap residue in the clothes themselves.
Yes, this will happen. That's why always use a quarter of what the bottle says.

It’s one piece, just an extended wash plate to hold a fabric softener dispenser.
