Love the video. Currently running damage arcanist with DW and flame staff. Love the insaaaane damage. But, it's pretty squishy at the moment. Running epic order's wrath and pillar of nirn both 5 piece.
I'm pretty low level still but the first healing ability has been super clutch for me usually heals at least 50% of my health so like using that and the second defensive ability nothing kills me usually unless it's just too damn strong for me like those wandering enemies that have like 1mil health
No offense but the builds seem quite dated gear wise is there a reason for that? Is this gear just still the best? but what’s the point of using maelstrom weapons they don’t seem all that good Ik back in the day they were bis but now the look weak stat wise
its preference, dont get caught up on whats the best as every single class when min maxed to the max are all capable. its all about play style and what looks appealing to you.
If I use the Languid Eye ability on my backbar in ESO, but I have the Deadly Strike set only on my frontbar, do I miss out on the 15% damage bonus from Deadly Strike when I switch to my backbar? And can I still get the bonus by quickly switching back to my frontbar after casting the ability?
I leveled up my Arcanist as a Magic user, but had a lot of sustain issues. The kit at this time works so much better as a stamina variant. I’m sure ZoS will make changes later.
What weapons should I use to level this? I have never done a stam bud let alone a hybrid but I wanted to try it but I'm just a little lost on what weapons/skill lines I should have on the bar. There just aren't many good detailed beginner guides. Not like what there is on offer for the older classes.

Did there change the set bonus on the Pillar of Nirn set? It's different from the guide, and with enchantment which one are they? stamina/absorb stamina/stamina recovery.

This might be a dumb question but you start by saying you use a two handed weapon for the gap closers and dots, then mention using a staff for the passives on back bar. Did I miss something? Could someone help me understand? I'm pretty new to ESO..

Can i use maelstrom battle axe instead of greatsword ? I know greatsword is nice due to the buff of deadly set of dots, is this better than the weapon and spell damage bonus of maelstrom axe ? Assuming that the build is copy paste except axe instead of greatsword @LuckyGhostESO
Hey Lucky, I know youve been doing a lot of Diablo recently, but did you test a staff on the back bar? Ive seen a lot of people running back bar destruction staff with Wall and Drain.
you can use either stamina or magicka but not both so your race doesnt really matter some abilities are tied only to magicka and some only to stamina so dark elf is nice

you'll have to take the pronunciation up with the creators of the game. they gave me a print out explaining it was pronounced "ar-CAN-ist" - now say ar - can - ist :) Cheers
So ,you've just put the stuff from your solo stam DK build ,on an arcanist...I did that too with a warden... it works exactly the same on every class I guess .
I feel like this is a guide for vet players it seems very complicated and iam a casual player hand have no idea where anything comes from set wise bar mythics
I started a week ago, cp 165 now and i can follow it. So not just vet players. Although he did mess up his guide since he talks about sword backbar, then staff backbar. In the video he says mainly light armor. Written guide has mainly medium armor. Makes it a bit confusing. Just follow the written guide from the description and you'll get there !
Its "arcanist" not "arcainist", the class doesn't revolve around making pottery! They're not arcainists, potter makers, they're arcanists, followers of Mora.

God modes never last. The devs will nerf the arcanist for sure. So don't spend to much time building up your toon.
So? Everything gets nerfed after a while, that’s part of playing an MMO.. that doesn’t mean you give up on that class
